Welcome all to this Demon's Attack Skit theater. This first skit of the story stars Lloyd (Normal), Genis (Bold), and Sheena (Italic) It is about a special weapon Lloyd created from his wooden blades.
Skit 1: Ignition Blades
Hey Lloyd, you're blades are on fire.
Yeah that could severely hurt you, Lloyd.
Guys, it's okay. I had created this with a special mana residue I found on the ground. It seemed to Change my wooden blades into a special kind of Magical Flaming Wood Blades. I think these Blades are called the Ignition Blades.
Why do you even still have the wooden blades?
I would never get rid of any of my blades. The good thing is that I got money to buy more Wooden Blades that can be with more of whatever these Mana residues are.
I guess that means you can't fight fire monsters with those blades through.
That would be the logical answer since they're fire element now.
Actually that makes a little sense unless you remember that I am a fire element person myself. Making the things the monsters are strong against into non-resistance. The increase of my fire element minus the strength of the fire monster equals the type of resistance.
I don't think that's how it works.
It's how the stars map out the weakness and strength chart. I learned that in Mandarin's Class.
Sheena, he is right. If you use your elemental weapons that matches your element, you get a bonus of Elemental damage to the weapon. Meaning the logical answer is that his weapons with fire element do normal damage against Fire Monsters and do 4x the damage against Ice Monsters.
You mean Lloyd matched his knowledge of battle to against the theory of resistances to beat it. Wow, Lloyd's gotten smarter.
With that fire elemental weapon, he is also gotten a lot stronger too.
I see Raine will be happy to find that out.
About Raine... Don't mention about the Mana Residue to her or we will have to go look for some.
I actually already told Raine. She said the mana residue substance is a thing they need to find later after we get more data on these.
I guess she wants to see it in action.
And I bet she will get to see.
That's the end of that skit. It's a pretty awesome thing to have Lloyd create some new weapons called "Ignition Blades". If this was a game, the screen would put a message about special mana residues. They are rare until the 4th chapter of this game.
