Chapter 13
Harold - No One
I am the enigmatic Harold. The great actor. Convincing enough to fool my own family. And soon to be the great spy in the coldest war ever. A cold war is one which mostly deals with spies, in which there are no real battles being fought...at least publicly. So by definition, the war with the yeerks is a very cold war. So cold that most of humanity doesn't even know about it. And in this cold war I play the role of spy. The life of a spy is so secretive, the enemy isn't supposed to even know you exist. Which is why my code name is No One. Of course I will adopt many aliases in the course of the war, but to my teammates, I am No One. I was sitting with Nathaniel, Joe, and Jessica, helping them make plans.
"Ok, Harold, you'll be a spy, and...do you have any reccomendations of other spies?" Joe asked.
"Well," I said, "Marcia would be good...and you too, Joe. Tyrone would be best for sabotage. I think we should all be trained for fighting, just in case." They all nodded. To go into more detail would just bore you, so I'm going to cut my section short. After we finished with our planning, Joe called everyone together at Jessica's place. I don't remember much of it because I fell asleep, but Phil Frank will tell you about it.

Phil Frank - Fox
Name's Phil. Code name Fox. I was sitting on a lawn chair listening to Jessica talk about our various roles in the group. I was a spy. Not a field spy...I would be more behind the scenes, hacking into enemy systems. It seemed appropriate. That was what I was good at anyway. At least now I would be doing it for a good cause. After they told me what my role was, I didn't feel there was any more need for me to pay a lot of attention, so I pulled my laptop out of the backpack I had on my back and logged on, immediately going to work on my job. It took a very long time (I've never tried hacking an extraterrestrial system before, so it was quite a challenge), but finally I got something. A huge network of computers running through some enormous mobile unit. I nosed around and discovered that this was the yeerk mothership...for this system anyway...in orbit over Earth. I rooted around some more and pieced something together out of bits and pieces of data. By that time the meeting was almost done, but I stood up and yelled "JOE!!" Jessica was right in the middle of something and everyone turned to look at me, "sorry," I said, "but I...I found something. Something is going on. Something big."
"How do you know?" Nathaniel said.
"My role IS computer espionage...I went straight to work, and I found something, some grandiose plan the yeerks have for Earth."
"What is it?" Joe said.
"I'm not sure exactly...there's not a lot of information on it, but what I did get pointed to something, possibly biological, that could increase their number of hosts ten-fold. I don't have anything else, but there is a big meeting about it this weekend at The Sharing main building." Joe gave Jessica a look and said, "The Sharing." She nodded.
