Disclaimer: I don't own Gundam Wing and never will.
Notes: Heero's point of view. It's during episode 3. My second point of view fic. Please review. I changed it when Vadim quatre_rw15@hotmail.com told me that Heero had said the opposite of something I had put. Thank you, Vadim quatre_rw15@hotmail.com.
The Fall
I awake to find myself strapped down. 'I've been captured. This is the treatment room of the 50th floor of the Alliance Military number 3 medical building, in the south JAP area,' I think.
I concentrate on keeping my status seemingly unconcious. Then I try to break free. The fools up there don't notice me struggle. I see that person that shot me beefore and screwed up my attempt to kill Relena on a screen to the side. He tests to see if I can read lips. What an idiot, wasting time like that. Then he comments about how good my acting is. I just ignore him. He then turns on the speakers slightly and asks me a few questions.
The boy introduces himself as Duo Maxwell. He leaves to do something. A few seconds later I hear an explosion.
"Time to liven things up, buddy," he says. "Man, how do you get these things off?" He looks a few times and then takes out a knife and cuts the straps. As we run he gives me a parachute and I put it on. We then dive to the ground as Duo throws a grenade.
We jump out through the hole that it had just made. He yells something that I didn't hear. I couldn't care less either. The thing that made me able to acknowledge my existence was gone, destroyed. I have no use to live now. Then I hear a familiar voice.
"Heero!" Relena yelled.
I then open my eyes and release my parachute. 'I have to kill her though. That will be the last thing I need to do.' I realise that It's too late.
I feel the feeling of falling. I quickly flip around and take the fall with my legs. I roll around and feel constant stabs of pain. I suddenly hit the sand and get up. I know that the bone in my leg has been split open.
"Blast it, I shouldn't have released my parachute," I say, knowing that despite the fact I remembered Relena, I shouldn't have survived and should have died.
"Now I can understand you wanting to take your own life, but maybe, just maybe you should think of another way of committing suicide, buddy," Duo says after landing on the ground. "I'm not asking you to trust me or anything, but right now I'm the only friend you've got, pal."
He puts my arm around his shoulders to help support my weight. Then we quickly get on a passing ship to the place where our suits were hidden.
'Maybe my suit didn't get destroyed then!' I think as I follow Duo.
He takes me to a crane and puts me on the ground outside of the control room. I decide to start placing my bone back. He pulls his suit out first and then fishes mine out. He turns around to try and get some gratitude from me, but I just finish putting my bone back in place. I groan in pain and then hear a sickening cracking sound as my bone is put back together. I bandage my leg and go out to look at Wing.
Ending Notes: It is getting annoying to use the exact words from the series, but oh well, it's just annoying to keep rewinding and playing. Just review and tell me how it is.
