I Love You
He had held me close to him and told me that he needed me there. He had held me and said that he couldn't go on without me. I suppose that's when I realized I was in love with him. Inuyasha. Inuyasha I'm in love with you. Would it really be that hard to say? I love you. I love you, Inuyasha.
As I laid there on my bed a poem I had heard long ago, re-emerged in my head. I felt like it mirrored my current emotions perfectly

I felt like I now had the courage to tell him I love him. I got up off my bed and walked to the window. I almost died of surprise when I saw that he was behind it. He had a confused look on his face.
"Hey Kagome," he said. "How the heck do you open this thing?" I smiled and opened it in one swift gesture. "Oh he said staring at it." He came into my room. I motioned for him to sit in the seat at my desk. He looked at me quizzically but obliged.
"Inuyasha," I began. "There's something really important I want to tell you." I paused and looked up at him. He was staring at me intently. "Inuyasha," I took a deep breath. "I love you." I was blushing madly. I had just told Inuyasha that I love him!
He stood up and kneeled in front of me. He lifted my chin up with his thumb until I was staring in his eyes. I knew it then, he loved me to. He leaned in and we kissed. I had never kissed anyone before but it felt so right with Inuyasha, so natural. I was deeply in love with Inuyasha, and he loved me to. Everything was perfect.
