Before I Leave

This is a story of two girls, both with their own problems. Eventually they meet up and become great friends but that's going to effect their other relationships. This chapter is about Cami before her first meeting of the book. This chapter is supposed to be short. I need a little refresh to get me back into writing again, please point out any mistakes I may have made. Thank you.

Chapter 1

Cami was eating at an old subway by her school. She had forgotten to pack herself a lunch so this was the next best option. She had just finished her pizza sub when she got a text from Tristen. It read Has everyone finished the task? The meeting is today. Cami sighed "When is this damn war going to end?" She gets up and heads out.

At Cami's school there is a war. That war gas been going on since before Cami had even stepped foot in the building. The war between rich and poor. The rich try to find ways to get the poor in trouble while the poor or 'Underdwellers' endure the insults and punches that come their way. Cami is on the rich team, not by choice though. She was forced into the team because she is one of the richest kids in the school, and is best friends with the leader if the rich kids. Because she is in the rich kids team she has to go to their meetings, and has to do a task that is pretty much usless. She does do the tasks though, no matter how she hates it.

She walks into her highschool. She sits down at a nearby table and pulls out her phone. She starts scrolling through her messages and texts. Around ten minutes later the bell rings and she heads to class. This class is by far her favorite class, Home Ed. She takes off her coat and hangs it on the rack by the door. She stands at her table and listens to what her teacher says. After finishing the class its time to head home. She walks down to the lobby and sits down. She just sits there watching YouTube . After a while she gets up and walks home.
