It was mostly because of the way he walked that Sabina watched Alex crossing the school grounds. The way that his arms went in perfect motion with his legs and his hair scattered over his face in the wind.

A lot of girls heads turned as Alex walked toward Sabina. it took her a while to realize that Alex had directed his path in her direction. her breath caught up short and she felt a little dizzy when Alex approached her and said in his smooth deep voice,

"Hey Sabina."

At first, Sabina didn't say anything. Alex had only ever talked to her out of school while they were waling home together.

"Hi." was all she managed to get out.

"I was just wondering if you know where Tina is." Sabina's heart sank. Alex had been rumored to be dating Tina Summer. Apparently the rumored were true. Of coarse he would go out with Tina. She was gorgeous. with her long blond hair and tall, slim body.

"Yeah, she is in the cafeteria. I am actually meeting her there." At least Sabina would be able to walk all the way to the cafeteria with Alex.

The cafeteria was packed with students. There were teachers moving through the crowds trying to keep the energy level low. Alex grabbed hold of Sabina's back pack so that he wouldn't lose her.

Tina was sitting with a friend close to the food line. Sabina sat next to Tina and Alex sat across from her.

"Hiya Moe." Alex said. He had always called Tina Moe, because that was her middle name. And she thought it was cute.

"Hey Alex. Hi Sabina." Tina grinned, showing her perfect white teeth that added to her beautiful smile. Sabina nodded at Tina and sat down next to her, so that Alex was forced to sit across from Tina.

"So what are you doing after class Tina?" Alex asked.

"I'm actually not too sure." Alex rolled his eyes at her. "Yeah i know, its Friday and I have nothing to do. you have any good ideas? i want to do something."

"Well we could always go see a movie."
