This is a random one-shot about Team 7 that I thought up. It's a word challenge. I grabbed a thesaurus and got four words from it. Then I just added the fifth one because it just fit.
I do not, and I repeat, do not own Naruto, no matter how much I wish, and ask Santa that I could, I really just, don't. Oh, well.
Intensity
Then intensity in the air was thick, as the former best friends stared at each other. Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Who knew that they would all become mortal enemies? Sasuke in Team Hebi, Sakura in Akatsuki, and Naruto being Hokage.
Sasuke's katana clattered to the ground. Naruto's rasengan flared out. Sakura's chakra infused punch died. Kakashi put his mask over his sharingan. They couldn't do it. Of course they couldn't. Once a team, always a team.
Propensity
They all had a propensity. A talent like no other.
Sakura had super strength and passion. But she had gone her separate ways.
Sasuke had his curse mark, and his sharingan. But he as well parted ways.
Naruto had the Kyuubi, and he was extremely loyal. He stayed where he was.
Kakashi had one sharingan eye, and he also had copying skills. He stayed where he was as well.
But what their real propensity was how loyal they were. Team 7. Though they were all enemies, they wouldn't be that. They couldn't be that. No matter how hard they tried, they were, and would always be, Team 7.
Dispute
They had their disputes. But they couldn't be broken up, no matter how many fights they got in. Their fights was one of the things that strengthened their bonds. By fighting they found out each others' problems, and strived to work them out.
That was Team 7 for you.
Different
They were all different.. No one could be the same. The world would be very weird if everyone was the exact same.
Naruto was happy and always bubbly, while Sasuke was cold, and mopey.
Sakura was happy as well. Kakashi was just…. Kakashi.
But there was one thing that couldn't change about them all. Inside they were all just broken kids. Hurt form betrayal, death, and pain.
I guess they're not so different after all.
Provoke
There was one thing that never changed. They were able to provoke any emotion out of each other.
They made each other happy, when they were sad, and made each other laugh, when they were hurting so bad.
Team 7's bond was unbreakable. Oh, no, enemies or not, they could be together.
Family
Family. That's what they are. Yeah, they were a dysfunctional family, but a family none the less. Each of them had no family. So Team 7 was their family.
They were the best family any of them would ask for. Through the ups and downs, the easy and the hard, the best and the worst, they were together.
Team 7 was unstoppable. They could defeat any enemy, and they loved each other. Kakashi the dad, Sakura the little girl, Sasuke and Naruto the older brothers.
Naruto, Sasuke, and Kakashi were very protective of Sakura. She didn't mind though. No, she actually liked it.
I think that's what brought them back together. No matter how much Sakura loved being with the Akatsuki, she returned home to Konoha.
No matter how much Sasuke wanted to kill his older brother, he knew that he couldn't be without his friends. No, his family.
This is what kept them together. No matter what each one wanted, they desperately needed their each other. They were, after all, just broken children.
And as they say, it takes one to know one. So only they could fix each other.
They were the family they always wanted.
Now who was going to take that away from them?
