Lily Evans was sitting in her dorm with books spread across her bed.

'Lily,no one would believe that you are a third amount of books you read and study you do seems like you are a N.E.W.T student.' Alice Prewett said from her bed. Apparently she could not find anything interesting to do so she was trying to read one of Lily's books.

'You are reading it upside down.' Lily remarked without removing her eyes from her Intermidiate Transfiguration.

'Oh! I am so bored.' she shouted throwing the book to Lily who just waved her wand to make the book go back in her trunk.

'Go find Marlene or Mary.' Lily suggested finally closing her book.

'Mary is having 'an all to herself day' which means she is basking in the sun for Marlene,well...Sirius asked her out to Hogsmeade today at breakfast when James was trying on is not as stubborn as you.' Alice added the last part to tease her.

'Alright. If I am stubborn,then what is Potter?' Lily asked,the infamous glare dangerously dancing in her eyes.

'A never quitter and true -'

'Alright that's enough.' Lily cut off the smirking Alice.

'Hey you two are free today?'Emmeline Vance asked bursting into the dorm,her face red from exhaustion.

'Did you just run all the way from London to here?'Alice raised a brow at her friend's look.

'Why?'Emmeline asked finally catching her breath.

'Because you look like.' Lily added.

'I met Benjy Fenwick down in the Great Hall with his friends,and then I just-'

'-started blushing like a maniac,continue.'Alice added before Emmeline could say something else.

'He said...' she could not continue because she was blushing again.

'What did he say?'Lily animatedly asked.

'HI EMMELINE!'she shouted excitedly.

'That explains why you are so ran all the way from there till here and were blushing at the same time.' Alice rollled her eyes.

'Hey Evans!' Potter called out as they exited the Great Hall.

this trip is going to be spoilt.Lily thought.

She turned to find Potter right in front of her.

'Yes Potter?'Lily said with the most irritated smile she could master.

'Want to come with to Hogsmeade?' he asked.

'No,no,no and NO! ' she shouted on him. 'Why don't you spend time with your Marauders?'

'Sirius is on a date with Marlene,Remus is in the library,Peter is making his biggest ever Chocolate Frog card castle, so I am all alone.' Potter said a bit made Lily a bit symphatatic on his side.

'You are not lying,are you?'Lily said raising a brow.

'I swear on you,and you know how much I love you.' Potter said with big,puppy dog eyes.

Lily rolled her eyes and moved on.

As she,Alice and Emmeline entered Three Broomsticks,Lily saw that Sirius was indeed sitting there with Marlene. He was earning himself a lot of stares and dreamy glances from the girls around them.

'Poor Potter,you left him all by himself in the Castle. All people above third year are here.' Alice teased Lily.

'Ha ha ha. Like he doesn't have legs. I bet he will be in Honeydukes with some random girl.' Lily said.

'Jealous,are we?' Alice teased again and earned herself a smack on the arm.

'Oww.' she said in an exagerated painful voice.

'Are you coming.' Emmeline shouted from the table near to a window.

As Lily and Alice sat there with their friend,they ordered three Butterbeers.

Lily couldn't help wondering if she really was that beautiful to win James Potter's heart who was the most popular crush in the Giggling Girls Of Hogwarts as Lily liked to call them.

She shaked off the thought from her mind and tried to concentrate outside the saw Potter sitting on a bench,his ankles deep in snow.

So he really is alone today.Lily thought as she sat there drinking her warm Butterbeer in the chilling weather.
