I stumble and fall, I can't walk or crawl,

I'm mere flesh and bone, my spirit lies prone,

No chance for withdrawal, no hope of recall.

I sit here enchained in your feeble brain,

The unwilling host to my unmoored ghost,

Death ends all life's pain though memories remain,

You bewail, I boast, but who hurts the most?

You watch from the night, you live without light,

You violence endorse yet feel no remorse.

No choice but to fight, the world rules by might,

There's no other course, the strong the weak force.

I watch and I wait. You linger in hate.

Is sorrow your fate? Will darkness abate?
