Harry just 14 and in wizards it was stage one of maturity the last one came at 17 and that was the big one were power increased 14 is were you got your gifts that you weren't born with. Harry arrives the day of his birthday at the Weasleys and as soon as he entered the house he didn't feel that he belong that he should get out. The weird thing was that he should take Hermione and go to his Godfathers.
He spied the fireplace and the floo and as luck would have it Hermione was standing in front of the fireplace. He stood next to her as they sang happy birthday that they didn't notice Harry sprinkle the powder and call out the Dog House. He jumped in and took Dragged Hermione also he landed in his Godfathers house and Sirius jumped when Harry crash landed in the living room.
Hermione turned and glared at him angrily and pointed her finger " what is wrong with you Harry why did you come here when you have a party going she shouted."
Harry just hung his head " I don't know I got the feeling that they couldn't be trusted and that I needed to get out and you needed to come you were also in danger."
Hermione looked confused but Sirius broke in " it may seem that Harry may have gotten the gift of the empath. That means he sensed the deceit of the Weasleys or the hostility of someone there."
Hermione didn't like were this was going " you are telling me that Harry felt something bad at the Weasleys. I don't buy that they are the most trusting light sided family I have seen I don't know what Harry felt."
He looked up at her with anger in her eyes " what I felt was the need to control us and I felt they would use any means. I felt from Ron and Ginny there excitement of us finally being under there control and that we would love them. Which means they want a smart witch in there family and the Hero and they want are money because they are so poor. Is that what you want to go back to and be under there control there slave and do what they want."
Hermione had tears in her eyes Harry hugged her " no how can they do that why would they want to do that."
Sirius answered " they want to improve there status and regain what they had lost and with you 2 they would have done that. Don't blame Dumbledore the Weasley are naturals at oculmency so the headmaster couldn't find out there plans."
They looked up shocked Harry noticed the fire turning green he looked at Sirius he raised his wand and blocked off the floo connection. They heard a crack of apparition and the headmaster stood in the room. " Harry the Weasleys are worried you just disappeared and took Hermione what's wrong."
They retold the story to the headmaster and what there conclusion was and the headmaster looked furious. " I am glad you got out of there you did the right thing and tomorrow I will take you to Gringotts to find out your powers as a birthday present."
