A Talk Between a Director and an Agent

Author's Note: The last few minutes of the episode called Mona Lisa gave me chills. This is just a small drabble set to post Mona Lisa.
At a local park in DC, Vance is out and about as he is thinking about that moment when he confronted Mallory. He felt like he was completely duped by her. He notices Agent McGee pushing a stroller with his twin. "Tim, this is a nice out for a stroll". Leon said to McGee.
McGee is surprised as he looks at Vance. "Director, this is a surprise to see you here". McGee said to Vance as he is wondering why he is here.
Vance looks at Tim as he nods as he joins him. "How did you manage to move on after being duped by a woman"? Vance asks Tim.
Tim is a bit caught off guard as he looks at Vance. "Hold on, were you duped by someone very recently"? Tim asks Vance as he looks at the director.
Vance nods as he looks at Tim. "Yeah Mallory, I thought she was a teacher. Turns out, she works with the CIA with a mission to track me". Vance said to Tim.
Tim nods as he can relate and sympathize with the director. "It happens to the best of us Vance. There is that feeling of being duped that will linger for a bit. The hurt will be there, and then you will move on. The silver lining is that she wasn't out to kill you like the whole Kia mess". Tim said to Vance.
Vance sighs as he remembers about Kia and that mess. "That's true McGee, she wasn't out to kill me. I have moved on from Jackie and her death. It just getting back into the dating scene is not as easy as it looks". Vance said to McGee.
McGee nods as he is thinking about the times he got screwed over especially by Tony DiNozzo. "Getting into the dating scene is hard no matter what Director. Another silver lining is that you won't have a Claire that got created by a coworker". McGee said to Vance.
Vance smirks to McGee as he thinks about that one. "I have heard rumors about that one. Wasn't it DiNozzo behind that"? Vance asks McGee. He was trying to think of the case.
McGee nods as he looks at Vance. "Yes it was Director. I was mad at him for it. However now, it is something that got let go over the years. I hardly even think about that these days. Being played by person happens to the best of us, and it will happen to someone else. You won't be the last person". McGee said to Vance.
Vance has a faint smile on his face. "Thank you McGee, you really put things in perspective for me. I thought Mallory was special to bring around my kids. It turns out I wasn't even close to bringing her around to them". Vance said to McGee.
McGee smirks to Director Vance. "Your welcome Director, you just need to open up to the right person when she comes along". McGee said to Vance as the two parted ways.

I wanted Vance to get some advice from McGee about moving on from being duped by a woman.
