A young girl ran through a forest. Howls sounded in the distance, other howls answering it. She jumped over logs, and sharp rocks barefoot. She panted with exhaustion but she couldn't afford to stop now. The ever bleeding wounds at her sides, legs, arms, and face slowed her down and painted her tracks in red. She yelped in pain as she tripped on a branch that was sticking out. She tumbled down a hill, gaining new wounds as she did.

She landed at the bottom, expecting sharp rocks or freezing cold water, instead it was cold, hard, stone. She tried to lift her head but black spots danced before her eyes. A man walked towards her. "A hum-!?" was all she saw before black swallowed her vision.
