After the death of Sauron, there was peace in Middle Earth. The Dwarves, the Men, the Hobbits, the Elves, the Ents. They were at peace. It was a great age for them. There were many new Scholars, Architects, Leaders, Craftsmen and Musicians. There were great new buildings built, monuments erected, statues of those who had fought and died in the War of the One Ring. Most lived in peace.
But not the Orks, or the Goblins and the Trolls. Most Ork Tribes had to struggle to survive outside the reaches of the United Armies of Man, Elf and Dwarf. The Trolls retreated to the mountains, the Wargs went wild, the Goblins turned to looting and scavenging and the orks turned to hunting and gathering for their living. But a few companies of Sauron's army escaped, and continued to rebel and raid. The Olog-hai, Trolls that didn't turn to stone in the sunlight, went wild and destroyed small towns to get food. One of the companies that continued to rebel against the United Armies and capture villages, ambush soldiers and destroy buildings, was led by Captain Vurrk. It had three armoured Olog-hai, twelve Wargs with riders, one hundred Orcs and twenty five Goblins.
Vurrk hated the races of Man and Dwarf, but despised the Elves. He had lost many of his Blood-Brothers to Elven Archers, at a Warg charge at a camp of Elven Hunters. Vurrk wore spiked black iron armour and was armed with a vicious, spiked mace and a Mithril dagger, taken from an Gondorian Captain who was killed while returning home after the Battle of the Black Gate. Vurrk was unlike other Orc Captains, as he didn't enjoy battle as much as them. He preferred sneaking, ambushing and raiding. That was why he escaped the Battle of the Black Gate, because he wasn't in the heat of battle, he was leading a group of Orcs to capture the enemy Archers. That was also why his company hadn't been killed: Most remaining Companies tried to capture Gondor, or an important Mage, or slughter and destroy Hobbiton, along with the rest of the Shire. He, however, raided caravans, ambushed Soldiers or teamed up with Feral Orca and Mountain Trolls to capture towns temporarily, before wiping out the inhabitants, raid the treasures, supplies and weapons, and finally burn down the buildings. Once, he'd even sent an enraged Oiliphan into several Rohan Villages and a Warrior camp. He was one of the best Orc Captains still fighting. Vurrk's newest plan was to use a group of Goblin Miners, Mountain Trolls and Orc Tribes to create a distraction by marching to wipe out several small Elven settlements, and Vurrk could lead his Company through an old Elven escape route to get into the Elven Libraries, where they could burn the ancient books in the library. Then he'd assassinate whatever Elven Nobles, Scholars, Musicians, Architects and other great thinkers they could find. That would strike a blow to the Elves. So he struck a truce between three large Orc Tribes and the Mountain Trolls, as well as the Goblin Miners and Scavengers. He raided several farms and towns, to get gold for the Goblins and cattle and sheep for the Trolls, as well as supplies for the Orc Tribes.
Then he captured several War Caravans to get armour and weapons for his newfound allies. So that was when he joined forces wih the Orcs, goblins and Trolls in a test assault on the Rohan Logging camp and Warrior Outpost.
