Tales of Benovia Part One

Introduction

"Alright," started principal Samuel. "This Friday, we will have our end-of-the-year dance!" Various guys in the audience had grins spread across their faces as they eyed the girls the wanted to take to the dance. Roy Williams was one of them.

He'd always had a crush on Zelda Hyrule—the most popular girl in all of Smash Brothers High. She had long, flowing golden locks of hair and cobalt blue eyes that shone even in darkness.

Roy snapped out of his fantasy when he got a sharp jab in the ribs. "Ow…what the hell was that for?"

"So, are you gonna ask Zelda to the dance?" asked Ness, Roy's friend. "You'd be stupid not to."

Roy glared at him for the sharp jab the said, "Of course I am, moron. I mean, who wouldn't? She's beautiful. And not to mention nice…Sometimes." He then got up and started walking to where Zelda was sitting.

He gulped, and nervously said, "H-hey Zelda." She started at him blankly while the girls around her smirked.

"What the heck do you want?" As Roy stared at the ground in embarrassment, the other girls started laughing their heads off. She smirked and said, "If you're gonna ask me to the dance, the answer is NO. Why would I want to go out with you? You're immature, and plus I hate red hair. So… Beat it!"
