It's been a few years since Bill tried to take over the world. Of course, since the townspeople were so clueless, it only took a month for everyone to forget about the whole "Weird-mageddon" incident. Well, almost everyone. The twins and Pacifica remembered everything. So when Bill Cipher shows up at their front door, broken and battered, it's understandable that they would turn him away.
However, when Bill turns up but as a human with demon powers, Dipper starts to fall for their old enemy. Dipper and Mabel have been in the closet since high school, with Mabel crushing on Pacifica. Now as adults, the time for confessions and secrets to be told has arrived. When Bill reveals that he no longer has access to the Dream World, a new company arrives in Gravity Falls: Code Laboratories. An enemy older than Bill has escaped his prison and wants revenge on Bill and his new family with his army of Nightmares.
