Sokka and Toph were going on a "innnocent" picnic. Really, Sokka was going to tell Toph his feelings for her, and she him. They didnt know that though. The downer of the whole picnic was that Aang had to fly beneath them on his staff.
At the Picnic
"So..." Toph said, after a couple minutes of awkward silence. "Can you pass me those coco sticks?" Sokka asked. Toph passed them, expecting him to feed them to her. What he did though was not unpredictable, espcially for him. He stuck two together with peanut butter and stuck it up his nose. He did it again and stuck that up his other nostril. Then he 1 them out and threw them at Aang. They could just make out a faint "hey" from Aang. "Nice job. It landed on twinkletoes." Toph said, high-fiving Sokka. Sokka stood up on Appa and bowed. "Thank-you! Thank-you very much!" He said loudly. Then he sat down quieting himself. "I have to tell you something!" They blurted at the same time. "You first." Sokka said, standing. "I like..." Toph did not finish because Sokka had just fallen off of Appa and into the clouds. "Sokka!" Screamed Toph. She lowered Appa quickly and caught Sokka. She lowered Appa into a part of the woods. Aang came flying down. "How is he?" He asked. "I don't know! I don't know at all!" She cried. Sokka didn't move one bit. "Sokka! Stop joking! Come back! Please, for me! I love you!" She cried, pounding on his chest. A few of her tears found their way to his chest and right over his heart. Only then, did he wake up. "I love you! I love you..." Before he could finish, Toph kissed him. "I love you too." She said
