Eddie walked into the hallway of Anubis House to see his girlfriend Patricia bundling up a little 5 year old girl with brown her and big green eyes that you could melt in.
"Uhh Yacker?" Patricia looked at Eddie as she rose from her crouching position in front of the little girl.
"Oh, hey.. you want to come with?"
"To where?"
"The fair."
"Never figured fair's were your type Yacker," Eddie said with a smirk lying on his lips.
"They're not but I promised I would take Molly," Patricia replied referring to the little girl hiding behind her leg.
"And who is Molly? Like, to you?" Eddie asked slipping his arms through his coat.
"My niece."
"What? When did Piper have a kid?" he asked bewildered.
"She didn't have a kid doofus. She's David's."
"Aand David is...?" Eddie trailed off.
"Hmmm... well considering she's my niece, he might be my brother?" Patricia said in a 'duh' tone with sweet sarcasm.
"What? Since when did you have a brother? You never told me, I thought we had no secrets! How old is he?"
"Since I was born, 24 and you never brought up anything about my family and I just didn't think of telling you..." Patricia felt a little guilty... she should have told him really, but her brother wasn't ever around, she sometimes forgot she had a brother.
"Oh... let's just go then..." Eddie sighed as Patricia grabbed Molly's hand guiding her to the door.
As Eddie, Patricia and Molly reached local park, Patricia hauled Molly up onto her hip so that she could get a better look. Molly's face was full of excitement where as Eddie's just showed confusion.
"Yacker, why is there a huge fire pit over there, and no one's doing nothing about it?"
"Because it's bonfire night, duh!" Molly chipped in to the conversation. Eddie , being from the states, knew absolutely nothing about this 'bonfire night' thing.
"Back in the day there was this man called Guy Fawkes who tried to blow up the houses of parliament in London with gun-powder, but in the end he got caught before it happened and they burnt him on a bonfire, so this is how we celebrate it."
"Oh," Eddie said a simple reply, it didn't seem like much of an event to celebrate.
