Jack couldn't believe how dark it was when he woke from a deep slumber. Lying in the dark he tried to recall the crazy dream that he had. He remembered that he had been walking through a haunted pumpkin patch with some of his friends on a cool Halloween night. Then a loud bang and a bright flash after that his dream seemed to slip away. He could recall seeing people crying and screaming under relentless sobs for him to come back to them. The only other part of his dream that Jack was able to bring back was the face of a man above him the man was asking another person for a needle and thread. The strange man said that the service would be in a day and he wanted to be done with all the preparations tonight. What a strange dream Jack thought to himself but he wasn't a man to ponder on trivial things.
