Forever

They say that love is a never ending road with many turns that bring you great surprises. A few bumps in the road that give you pain, but once you reach that open road it can take your breath away.

But what people don't say is that every ending road isn't so ever ending the road soon comes to a dead end…

That's what happened to Edward and Bella's road. The dead end came so quick it was like they took the express to get there faster instead of taking their time…

Bella couldn't believe it her Edward was gone. How could this happen, Bella thought? Because you had to bring up the whole change me subject. Why couldn't you just change me so we could be happy forever? You had him, but you let him go! Bella's eyes started to water again. No, Edward let me go just because he didn't agree with me and if he really did love me he would have changed me because that was what I wanted. But Edward couldn't see that no matter how much I tried to show him.

We could have had everything… I could have had him, and he could have had me forever… but he walked out. He walked out of my heart. And this time I am not going to let him back in.

(Flashback)

"Edward, I love you, so why wont you just change me? I really want this." Bella asked. Edward looked away from Bella.

"It's not as easy as you think, Bella" Edward turned back to Bella. "I just can't do it to you."

He can't do it or he doesn't want to, thought Bella. Her eyes started to water along with her heart breaking. Why couldn't Edward see that she would be more than willing to go through three days of hell, no three days of pain isn't hell, living her life with a broken heart, and no Edward was surly hell.

Bella's couldn't hold her tears back any longer "I love you Edward… do you love me?" Edward stepped closer to her.

"Yes Bella I do, but…" Bella couldn't look at Edward, for if she did she would get lost in his golden eyes, and forget what they were talking about.

Edward's hand came to hold her, but Bella turned around and gave Edward her back. She knew that she hurt him, but his hurt was no where near her pain as he hurt her every time he refused to change her.

Bella heard Edward give out a sigh of anger, which made Bella turn around to face him. His eyes were no longer soft and gentle but full of anger and hurt. How could he be mad? She thought he should be happy, she wants a life of darkness and even more she wants him.

"Bella I can't keep fighting you on this, I refuse to do it…" Edward paused. He is breaking up with me thought Bella which made tears full even more. When Edward didn't come to her she knew the thought was true.

"Bella you need to live your life as if I was never here, this isn't right… you and me. I can't do this to you any longer." Edward looked at Bella and his pain showed all over his face. Bella couldn't believe what she was hearing. She thought this was just another one of their silly fights… she didn't think it would lead to losing Edward forever.

Edward looked at her once more, and then turned around and walked out her bedroom. "Edward" Bella choked out. But he didn't come back to her. Bella ran to her window and look out. She saw Edward walk out of her house at human speed probably for Charles sake thought Bella, and than he ran without one look back. Did she mean so little to him, when he meant the whole world to her?

Bella fell to her knees and let the tears really start to fall. He was gone. Not only for a little while, but he was gone forever.

(Present)

That was only a week ago and every day that Bella went back to school hoping to see Edward to talk to him he was never there. Edward and the Hales nor any of the rest of the Cullens were there. Bella couldn't believe it, Edward had left and he was really gone.
