A/N: I'm amazed that I found time to do this. I am currently writing a co-written SRMTHFG fanfic with MonkeyMindScream -who emanates brilliant writing talent- titled What Lurks in the Darkness. It can be found on her profile and on her DeviantART profile. If you read it, and I sincerely hope you do, please find some time to offer some critique in your review or comment. :)

Inspired by one of the song titles in 'Hairspray' and the episode 'Prototype'. YES, I am continuing the 'Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go one-shots inspired by songs or words from stage musicals' thing. I didn't like Hairspray much, but they made us watch it in the last week of school and I have a very rigid principle: You start something inspired by stage musicals; you finish it without discrimination to the musicals you don't like.

Disclaimer: I own very little.

Timeless

He felt very small.

The atmosphere was thin. The air brushed his metallic body as he flew, caressing each contour. The laboratory was far behind, its ruins fizzling with unstoppered surges of electricity. No doubt Maezono was in there, dead. He couldn't be sure about the brain, though... The massive hulk of Maezono's robot lay a little closer. Smoking wreckage on a fresh battlefield. The golden lights in its eyes had gone out. An armoured hand reached for him, though the distance between the two robots was increasing by the second.

His third day activated, and it had gone horribly wrong.

His brain whirred and hummed quietly. What was he? Why had he been created? What was he meant to do? An existential void in his young existence. He could fight, that he knew. He could break things; turn them from beautiful to terrible. That's what he had done with the laboratory. For future reference, he called this destruction.

His third day activated, and he had been plunged into a world of cruel, malicious, immoral ambition.

Professor Takeuchi was no longer functioning properly. He had barely been able to get onto familiar terms with him; he hadn't seen much of the Professor in his two days of activity. He hadn't found out if Professor Takeuchi was kind or bad, but in the last moment the Professor had tried to stop his colleague. And now his body was a shell. There was no consciousness, no movement, nothing worked. For future reference, he called this death.

His third day activated, and he had already seen one man kill another.

Maezono had tried to fuse his mind with his robotic form. The ensuing explosion had killed Professor Takeuchi. There was a strange feeling inside him, uncontrollable. It was hot; it moved fast and seeped everywhere. His entire being rocked and blurred with the force of this feeling. It interfered with his basic functions, his judgement and navigation. He named it hate.

His third day activated, and he knew the meaning of revenge and fury.

A greyish white substance blanketed the entire planet. When he landed at last to give his energy cells time to recharge he found it to have a slightly hard, crusty surface, but he sank into it after a while and left tracks. It buried the professors' settlement buildings, it buried the gigantic fighting robot. These remains would become timeless. It was powdery, some sort of space dust...

For future reference, he called it snow.
