Bingo Slot (9) {Word} Fire
Chic looked across the fire pit; "Hey get off my sister." He growled.
The two faces turned as one. "Shut up Chic." Betty stuck her tongue out at her older brother.
"You are no better Chic." Veronica mocked as she turned back, and kissed Betty lightly on the lips.
"Leave them alone Chic." Kevin lightly pushed his boyfriend sideways off the log. He laughed as he saw the slight shock in Chic's face as he landed on the dirt floor. "You should have prepared yourself for the move."
The two girls giggled.
Chic kneeled beside the log. "You better watch it Keller …. I do pay being mocked back after all." His left eye lowered as he eyed his boyfriend. He licked his lips.
Kevin felt rise in his cheeks.
"I'm not comfortable right now." Betty spoke up.
Chic turned his eyes to his sister. "Now you know how I feel when I watch my sister in a full on make out session with her girlfriend; right across from me in fire light." He sighed as he took his seat on the log once more.
"I'll remember to tone it down when you are around." Veronica said. "Actually I'll remember to protect Betty from any prying eyes."
Chic nodded. "Thank you."
Betty snuggled against Veronica. "I still call snuggling rights."
Chic wrapped his arms around Kevin as he rested his head against Kevin's neck. "Fine with me."
"So now that is over; I'm so glad that we decided to have this camping trip." Kevin spoke into the quiet of the night. His hand was against the back of Chic's thick sweater.
"Me too." Betty sighed. "I'm glad that we found a good camping ground near school that honesty does remind me of one of my favorite spots back home. Without having to go back home." Betty meet her brother's eyes across the fire flames.
"You know sis we do have to go back home." Chic spoke. "I know it's hard too. But Riverdale is ever much our home. Mom can't keep us from there."
Betty stiffily stood to her feet.
"B." Veronica quietly spoke.
"No Veronica." Betty spoke in a quite and firm voice. She looked into her lover's eyes. "Don't follow me. I'll be back soon." With that she turned and walked into the night.
Chic stood to his feet.
"No Chic." Veronica shook her head as she turned her eyes upwards. "She means it."
Chic moved away from the fire without a word. He followed after his sister.
"Shit." Veronica frowned as she stared after Chic. She turned around and stared into the fire.
"Chic's understands where Betty is right now. Better then you ever could Ronnie." Kevin sighed. "He's in the exact same head space as she is. Betty understands this. So she will be able to respond to Chic. You won't be able to reach her right now."
"I hate Alice Smith Cooper." Veronica's eyes lit through the illusion of the flames. "I wish she had passed away after Betty was born. Hal would have been a better and stronger single parent to those three." She whispered the last.
Kevin remained silent. He agreed with her. He looked out passed Veronica into the night where his boyfriend; and best female friend had gone.
