Mary doesn't know when did she walk out of the frame, leaving the broken pieces of mirror on the ground and stared blankly at the black, black world in front of her. The only thing she knew was that the dark gallery and the 'people' within are her friends—the mannequin heads, the blue dolls, the Ladies in their frames, the headless statues. They keep her company in this silent, dark world. They keep her company while she waits for Guertena to come and visit her.
But Guertena never came—not yesterday, not today, not tomorrow. She made countless blue dolls while she waited, creating many more mannequin heads and headless statues just for the heck of it. No matter how you look at it, it's boring to be the only 'living creature' around. Even though her dolls are smiling and hopping playfully around her, even though the mannequin heads staring at her all the time, even though the headless statues following her everywhere, even though the Ladies sometimes chased her even if they don't want to (because she isn't human—they all knew, but they pretend to not notice since that makes Mary happier), she still feels lonely.
She had created her own world, the dark gallery and the sketchbook world where she originally belonged—the world so twisted no one seems worthy to come over. But Mary is dying for someone to visit her—she doesn't care if it's not Guertena; she just wants someone 'real' to talk to. She just wants someone, not from the Fabricated World, to come and entertain her.
And perhaps, switch place with her.
That's why she's staring longingly at the 'Fabricated World' painting, hoping that the frame would just disappear and she could leap inside, blending with the amazing world besides her lonely, sketchbook life. She knows about the world behind the frame, Guertena told her almost everything. It's a wonderful world, he once said. It would be nice if Mary was a real human and they could live happily together, because a world this beautiful is something Mary should see with her own eyes.
But that was impossible, because Mary isn't real.
The frame wouldn't just disappear when she touched it, the painting wouldn't become real when she walked pass it. For this world, she's just another art by Guertena—she's not a human trapped in the Fabricated World (but she thought she was trapped—she didn't want to face that fact any other way). Mary isn't real, she's not even based on a real human.
Her blue eyes are staring at the painting, silently hoping that she could just enter that world or perhaps having someone to come over to her world. But nothing happens, it's just her and her doll in the silent corridor.
It's just her in this lonely world.
Mary sighs, staring at the painting for the last time (because miracles could happen in this world, too—right?) before she hugs her doll tightly to her chest and walk away, back to her sketchbook house.
"Won't anybody come soon…"

I'm currently hooked with this game and I have a lot of feelings for Mary. I can't see her as the antagonist—yes she's a bit psychotic but she's just a lonely girl ;; it's interesting how she could has some kind of emotions when she's just an art spring to life. I think Guertena put a lot of his feelings when he painted her. But yea, that's only my headcanon :x
Sorry if there are some grammatical errors, English is not my first language. I tried my best to proof-read it, though. Critics are appreciated and thanks for reading!
