A Distant Time
There was time when laughter struck
each melting chord of dawn,
And troubles seeped into the earth,
like there ne're was right nor wrong
There was a time when power hung
within the hands of fate,
And humans saw no likeness
In kings and high estate,
There was a time when minds were built
with strong and fearless hearts,
And peices of the human soul
were not torn in seperate parts,
There was a time so distant
So full of joy and mirth,
But humans have forgotten
When elves walked Middle-Earth
