She held her heels in her left hand and her bag in the left, her ankles were bleeding, her makeup was smudged, her breath smelled like beer and cigarettes and she was wearing last night's underwear. it was 7am and she was performing the sunday morning walk of shame.
Shiemi had gone out with her friends the previous night, got drunk and went home with a guy she didn't even know the name of, she left before he woke up because
a) she didn't know his name
b) the sex was absolutely awful
and c) he looked like the type of guy that would try and have morning sex with her, she hated morning sex
she trudged home slowly and ignored the stares she was getting from the few people that were already out and about
Eventually she made it to the front of her apartment building and as she approached the door she realised that coming from the opposite direction. She smiled and waved, it was her neighbour
Rin yawned and walked begrudgingly home, he went out last night and had somehow managed to score, some girl he didn't even know the name of, she was cute though. He'd left after he woke up and quickly realized that she had a boyfriend, judging from the mens paraphinlia throughout the room, either that or she wore men's underwear.
He stank of sweat and booze, he sniffed at his shirt, there was a trace of meat, chicken wings? no it was burger sauce...was it?
He looked up at his apartment building and sighed before making his way up the steps. He looked up and saw someone waving at him, but who was out this early?
They stood in the elevator silently
Shiemi cleared her throat "so...fun night? she asked
he nodded "yep...you?"
she smiled "yeah"
He looked around the elevator, the entire situation was awkward, they had both realised what the other had gotten up to the previous night
The doors opened and they both exited hastily and made their way down the hallway to their respective apartments.
Rin dug through his pockets and produed his key. He opened his door, Rin turned to say goodbye to his neighbour. Shiemi however was leaning with her head against the door
"somthing wrong?" he asked slightly worried
she turned and looked ready to cry "I just had the worst sex of my life, i hadn't smoked in three months and last night i had too many to count, i vomited two times, i smell awful and now i've left my keys at that guys apartment" she let it all iut in one breath
he smiled awkwardly trying to take ut all in, Shiemi was usually quiet "oh...well..umm would you like to take a shower, and I'm sure ive got some of my exes clothes lying about" he scratched his head
she nodded glumly "id really really appreciate that"
he smiled and swung his door open "ill make some coffee"
