Grandpa she misses you, and so do I, a bible fanfic

She touches that yellowed photograph of her all dressed in white,

Since then it's been 56 years-that is until tonight...

It seems just like yesterday when she first fell in love-

and she's still in love with him today...

How could all that be gone,

With only memories left to linger on?

When he took that picture,

with her,

with his Strong arms around her

I guess she never noticed when those arms become old...

When they were laughing,

Smiling,

even when they were crying-

If only she could get those moments back again...

The good times,

the bad times,

the trials and heart brake-

She could get through it as long as she had you...

Couldn't she go back to yesterday,

or any day,

any day but this day

She can't bare to breath another moment without you-

That's how much she misses you...

Grandpa, she misses you more than I can say,

I know because I watch her braking down day by day.

Grandpa, she misses you, cries for you,

inside she died with you...

She loved you more than anything...

She wishes the love of her life would hold her-

Cuz she can still see him bending over weeding every last row.
