I woke up that morning with the sun blazing in my eyes. Machi had rejected me. In side I kinda hoped she would reject me. I walked down stairs to see Kyo smiling and Shigure being a pervert again. "Yuki has the curse been lifted from you yet?" Torhu said with her big brown eyes. I shook my head.
"serves you right you damn rat." Kyo said laughing. Torhu looked sad.
"Miss. Honda why do you look so sad?"
"Its just why must you be cursed Yuki? Everyone else is free."
"I really don't mind Miss. Honda." after we made breakfast we left or school. Torhu held my hand and Kyo's. We walked to school like we always did but kyo seemed happier. Torhu offered to play rich man poor man but I just couldn't I felt sad after Machi rejected me and I was still cursed. Momiji jumped on my back trying to cheer me up but nothing really worked to cheer me up.
When I got home Akito was there. "Yuki..." he said "I am a woman." I jumped back. "I wanted to tell you last because I was the worst to you. I am so sorry." She said. Akito is a girl! How did I not know this. No wonder she hated girls she had to hide away her true identity while others could do anything. "one more thing..." Akito said while taking a deep breath "Y-you may n-never have the curse lifted because the rat was the one who tricked the cat you are the one who was always cherished so you are the one you will be cursed forever. When you die the curse will die with you." She said holding my hand. I pulled my hand back. "What? The curse will be over when I die!"
"Most likely." Akito said. Torhu walked in. "Yuki... You are going to be cursed forever?" Torhu started to cry. She always cared more about others than herself. She ran up stairs. "I will go talk to her." Shigure said. Shirgure walked up the stairs I didn't trust him so I jumped up and said in a harsh tone "get down here you pervert I will talk to her." I walked up stairs. I knocked on the door. Torhu opened the door. I walked in "Yuki you are so nice it is no fair. W-why are the kindest people always getting hurt... Can I give you a hug I know you will turn but I want to give you a hug." I smiled "Of course Miss. Honda" I said cheerfully. She gave me a huge hug. I was surprised by her strength. I felt her tears dripping through my shirt. Then I changed into a rat. Torhu started to cry harder. I turned back quickly. Torhu covered her sobbing eyes. When I was dressed again I leaned my head on her shoulder. "You are an amazing person Miss. Honda." I said.
"That is the first time anyone called me amazing that was not my mother." She giggled.
"You know what lets all go out for dinner."
"That sounds great." she said smiling.
After about an hour of getting ready we finally left. Kagura ended up going with us too, she is a lot more calm now that the curse has been lifted for her. We sat in a booth. Tohru and I were both on the outside. Kyo looked at Tohru different. I knew why, he loved her as I did. When we left Kyo walked closer to her. He didn't want her to slip away.
When we got home we all just relaxed in the living room and watched T.V. Kyo at one point stood up. "I have a confession to make..." he said. I knew he was going to confess to Torhu I just knew it. "I am in love with..."
