Hey guys, after looking back at the story to start it back up again I realized how horrible it was, I am so sorry! Thank you guys so much for giving it a chance and looking past the crappy beginning. So I am going to try to fix this as well as I can, with my friends help, cause I can not start stories very well. Also turns out one of the stories I was working on I still have (sent it to a friend to check for errors before I published it and he procrastinated, and I still have the messages) so I am also going to retype that and tweak it a bit while I do, but it's a Naruto fic so it's a bit different from what I'm doing now. I am also going to be working with a friend of mine who is also going to basically be making a parody of this story, it's gonna be a crack fic and it's going to be pretty funny, it's also going to have crossovers in it from Marvel, DC and a couple other universes (it is crack, afterall), so there's that to look forward to. I will have all the info on the beginning of the next chapter, for anyone interested in that. I'm not going to worry about the other stories I was writing for now, posting the next chapter of my story is top priority! (After fixing the beginning, of course).

Disclaimer: I do not own the House of Night series, only the characters I created. This is the only time I'm putting this!

"She said I don't spend time like I really should

She said she don't know me... anymore.

I think she hates me, deep down I know she does.

She wants to erase me. Hmm...

A couple days no talkin, I see my baby, and this what she tells me.

She says: I keep on runnin, keep on runnin and nothin works, I can't get away from you.

Now, I keep on duckin, keep on duckin, yeah nothin helps, I can't stop missin you."

Me and my best friend Jess sing along with Kid Cudi's Erase Me on the old portable speaker we got blasting out as we walk down the old familiar street we go almost every day after school, heading to the Woodlands library, making only one quick stop to one of the stores on the way.

"It's like I'm her new nightmare, she ain't escapin,

it makes me feel a bit complete, yeah.

Knowin someone you love don't feel the same way about you, memories, they soon delete. Hmm...

A couple weeks no talkin, I see my baby, I missed her so damn much.

Hey, I wish we could start over, I told my baby.

This what this bitch tells me!"

We continue, her younger sister Danielle joining in. We continue that way, singing along to various songs, mainly Cudi and Hollywood Undead, stopping only when we see the building. We quickly shut it off and run towards the field next to the library going through to the old library maze. We go through it to one of the stops in the middle, we all sit on the concrete bench across from the giant statue of a book, taking off our backpacks and taking out all the goodies from our white plastic bags. We pull out cheap snacks and munch on them while talking and joking around, waiting for the sun to go down. Once it does we grab our backpacks and empty out all the bottles we snuck from the store with huge grins on our faces. The girls open up all the bottles, taking sips from each one, finding all the ones they find undrinkable, and handing them to me to work my magic on them. I take one of the plastic bags full of various juices and sodas, mixing them up and handing the girls bottles of different creations I make for them. With all the stress of our strict school and family drama, we finally get a few hours to ourself to forget all our responsibilities and just act like normal teenagers, plus it helps us feel a little better with this cold we got. It feels nice, and I know with all the troubles my friends dad is causing, and all the pressure he's been putting on her, she probably needs it more than anyone. It's a little quiet at first, we do small talk, enjoying the night. After a little bit we look around to make sure no one is near and begin playing music and passing around the drinks, and singing obnoxiously along to whatever plays next. We got lost in the music, the drinking, and just us all being together in general, taking advantage of the distraction from life and just taking a moment to enjoy ourselves.

Making sure to keep an eye out, I notice a dark figure walk under the arch to the field and quickly shut off the music to avoid attracting attention. "Hey!" I hear immediately from next to my as the sisters complain at the sudden change from Theory of a Dead Man's Bad Girlfriend to complete silence and an occasional car rolling through. Dani pouts. "That was my favorite song, why'd you make it stop!" Jess scoots closer to me, looking in the same direction I am, trying to see what I am. "What is it?" She whispers in my ear.

"You guys be quiet, there's someone here." I say.

The girls both look scared. "Is it a cop?" You can hear the worry in their voices.

"I don't think so. From what I can see it doesn't look like a cop. And he didn't pull up in a car or cart, he walked over here. But they can still call the cops." I say as I hide all of the bottles and spray cologne into the air.

As he walks closer he starts looking younger. He walks right up to us, looking maybe a few years older than us with dark hair and clothing, a weird tattoo covering his face, the only part of it I can make out clearly is a moon in the center of his forehead. I hear Dani whispering "Wow, hes hot." into my ear as he begins to stop in front of us. In a smooth dark voice he says "Jessica Hues, Stephanie Grene! Night has chosen thee; thy death will be thy birth. Night calls to thee; hearken to Her sweet voice. Your destiny awaits you at the House of Night!" He points a finger at us dramatically, suddenly I got hit with the biggest headache, and from the sound of the gasp Jess made, I think she got hit with the same pain. I glared at the dude and he just walked off, and me and Jess go into a coughing fit. When we get it under control Dani jumps up "Dude, that guy was so weird, and seriously hot!" Me and Jess roll our eyes at her boy crazed sister. "I don't know what he was saying but I recorded a video of him when came up, his face is so cute. do you think he'd go out with me?"

Me and Jess look at each other for a while, then back at her. "Don't you have a boyfriend?" I point out.

"So?" she says. Turning back on Bad Girlfriend and dancing as her way to make a point, me and Jess just roll our eyes and then continue to pull out drinks to continue keeping and even further our buzz, enjoying the rest of the night before we have to go home, happy it's a Friday and we can spend the night together and keep the night fun.

By the time we're done we begin throwing away our bottles and switching from spiked drinks to water, and grabbing a few mints to suck on while we wait at the library benches. After about 20 minutes the familiar old silver car pulls up, and we all jump into the backseat, greeting Jessica's dad. we start to pull down our hoodies, enjoying the heat blasting in our face. Texas may not have very cold falls, and sometimes even our winters will only dip down to 35 degrees, but damn do our February's get cold as hell.

Jessica's dad gave us a weird look."Why did you guys draw on your face? Is this from one of those weird witch books you read Jessica?"

"Huh?" We all say together and me and Jess look at eachother to see a black crescent moon in the center of our forehead, with twisted lines inside the moon, reminding me of Celtic drawings.

"They look cool right?" Jess says, and I can tell she's just as confused as to what happened as I was.

"Uh, yeah, sure I guess." He says and turn back to looking forward, heading back to his house.

As soon as we get there we grab our bags and rush to Jessica's room and examine eachother's face. We don't remember drawing anything on our face. We try to scrub our face to get whatever was on our forehead off, but nothing worked.

I looked at Dani. "You said you videotaped that guy when he walked over to us right?" I ask her.

"Duh, who wouldn't! That face and body were made to be recorded."

I roll my eyes again, shaking my had. "Well can I see it? I'm pretty sure we didn't have these marks before he came and he's the only thing weird that happened that night."

"Sure, just make sure not to delete it!" Dani hands me her phone.

"Thank you." I grab the phone and watch the video, this time paying close attention to what that guy said. "What and where is the House of Night?" I say. both girls shrug their shoulders and I sigh. "Thank god for google." I say and search for it on my phone, handing Dani's back to her.

"Will google even know what it is?" Dani questions.

"Google knows all, there is nothing it can't figure out." I say.

"It is all knowing." Jess says dramatically. "Google is god!"

"And House of Night is a school in Tulusa, Oklahoma." I read from the page on my screen.

"Tulsa." Jess corrects me.

"Same difference." I say. "Besides, Tulusa sounds better."

"No, complete difference! That's not how you say it." Jess shouts, crossing her arms and glaring at me.

"Who cares?"

"I do."

"Well anyway, do you think your dad could drive us there?" I ask.

"I guess, maybe." She looks a bit doubtful. "Why would you want to go?"

I shrug. "Curiosity mainly, besides he told us we need to go there."

"Alright, when are you wanting to go? I'll see if dad can." Jess rubs her forehead.

"Tomorrow."

She jerks her head up to look at me. "tomorrow?!"

"Well yeah, I don't want to go today, it's almost over. Besides, I'm tired and need my sleep now more than ever to help me get over this stupid cold, and so do you."

"Didn't you say it was a school?" Jess gives me a weird look.

"Well he told us to go now."

"No he didn't. He just said to go, he didn't say when."

"Well I'm pretty sure he meant now."

She starts to look annoyed. "No school is open on the weekends. You just want to go now cause you have no patience."

"So? Besides, I'm pretty sure he meant go as soon as possible. Besides, it's in Oklahoma, we probably won't get there til Sunday anyway, depending on what time we leave." I point out.

Jess rolls her eyes at me. "Fine, I guess I'll go talk to dad about it and we can start packing in the morning."

"Packing?" I question.

"Well, it was called House of Night wasn't it? I figured it would probably be smart to pack just in case." Jess reasons.

I shake my head. "That seems ridiculous, but I'm too tired to argue about this anymore so as long as I can go to sleep right now I really don't care."

She starts walking out the room. "Fine, but I'm leaving the light on so I can see when I get back."

"Okay." I mumble, drifting off to sleep.

When I wake up I feel even worse than I did the night before, I get up and put my shoes on, ready to go. They drop me off at my house and I sneak in and quickly pack a small bag with some pencils, pens, paper, my charger, guitar, and some clothes. I rush out the door, hop in the car, then wait as we start the long drive to Tulsa, not even bothering to ask how Jess managed to talk he dad into taking us to visit a school on the weekend in another state. I'll have to remember to call mom later to let her know what happened.
