Cold hands traced over the keys; playing each note with delicate care.
It was the only thing he could do to ease the pain; to keep the memories from fading.
Playing was the only thing keeping him living; with each key he felt his lover's presence; his innocence.
Every breath and smile came flooding back. His lover's laughter rang out as he pressed down on the keys.
Even though playing lessened the pain, it could never fill the void; the void that will never be replaced.

Okay so this is my first ever Twilight and jakeward fic. Its not the best but I hope you like it. I have so many ideas for this pairing and I just thought I'd start with a small drabble.
I hope yall dont want to kill me for killing one of our boys but I couldnt help it; like they say "the pen is mighter than the sword" FYI I havent really planned out how jacob died. This fic was just nagging at me and I had to write it. But I figured it would work because jacob is still half human after all.
