David stood on the small, pitiful excuse for an island, his rat instincts drawing him towards the rotting, maggot-ridden bird. Why had this happened to him? The Yeerks had taken his parents and now he was forced to live out his life as a corpse-eating rodent. This was all Jake's fault. He should have never tried ordering David around.
