Hot.
It was hot, as it was the only way to describe the heat of today's weather.
After long hours of band practice, everyone had decided to leave, but Kumiko and Reina wanted to stay just a bit longer.
"Why don't we sit near the window?" Kumiko suggested, wanting to dissipate the awkward silence between them. Reina, seeing that, gave her a nod and sat besides her, placing her bag to the other side of her like Kumiko.
Still trying to withstand the heat, Kumiko finally gave in and took her socks off. "Ahh~ This feels much cooler." "Really?" With Reina looking at Kumiko, she did seem pleased with taking her socks off.
It wasn't until another second that Reina too, would take off her socks.
The two now were in deep silence, one that was still awkward, but comforting. Though Kumiko did try to keep stealing glances of Reina, to at least do something, or just wanted to keep looking at her. She didn't even notice that Reina was doing the same thing, but in a less obvious way.
"Ah." Reina had finally said something. "Kumiko, your lips are a bit chapped." Kumiko was finally out of her own daze by the time Reina finished talking. "Um- Oh yeah. I didn't have enough time to buy a chap stick, because I think I was to engulfed in practicing the euph."
Sighing, Reina opened her own bag, and took out a smaller bag like a pouch. She then opened the small pouch and took a lip balm out of it. "Sheesh. You should at least care for yourself, and try to not overwork yourself on practicing too much." While complaining about that, Reina was trying to apply the lip balm onto Kumiko's lips, and because Reina was busy talking, probably to Kumiko or herself, Kumiko was actually blushing at the proximity of how close Reina was.
"And there. That should do it for now." Reina finally moved back, saving Kumiko's heart, and with a only a bit more Kumiko might've just done something. Noticing the blush on Kumiko's face, Reina had asked about it.
"...Kumiko, what's wrong do you have a fever?" She then placed her forehead onto Kumiko's. With that, Kumiko had only blushed harder.

!Kumiko Pt.1
"Dammit. That Reina. First she tries tempting by taking her socks off, then applies her lip balm on me. Wait a minute.. ISN'T THAT LIKE A INDIRECT KISS?! GAAHHHH." Kumiko just blushes while thinking out loud. Luckily no one was there to hear her, while she doesn't know that she looked liked she was talking to herself.
!Reina Pt.2
Reina just sighs as she walks home, but with many thoughts running through her head. "Hm.. That reminds me, I never did really try that new lip balm that I used on Kumiko. I wonder if she thought that she had an indirect kiss with me. Though, that may happen if I apply it onto myself now. Dammit. I should stop thinking this out through, but then the way Kumiko took off her soc- NO STOP. Ughh, I may just have a headache by thinking about her more." With that, when Reina came home, she went straight to her room and fell on her bed, along with more thoughts just to apply the lip balm or not.
