Blake took the train every morning to go to school, but one morning there was something different. A blonde about her age, nineteen, came onto the train. Her lilac eyes were scanning around searching for a seat, for the train was as packed as usual.

The train started moving before she could find a seat, causing her to fall onto the seat beside Blake with a surprised yelp. Her upper body was squished on the seat, her knees on the floor. She, however, was ignored by Blake. The black-haired beauty had headphones over her ears and a thick, green book in her possession. Her amber eyes skimmed over the black print dully, a bored expression on her face.

"Hello!" The blonde said chipperly, popping up from her awkward position and sitting down properly. The bookworm spared her a glance.

The purple-eyed girl wore a white tank top and a dark blue denim jacket over it. She also wore black jeans and combat boots of the same colour. On her wrist was a pearl bracelet with a yellow heart charm hanging from it.

Blake gave her a once-over, mumbled a greeting and brought her full attention back to the book, which had the title 'Shattered' on the cover.

"Sooooo... Whatcha reading?" The blonde asked, looking at her with interest.

Can't I just read? Blake thought with a near invisible frown and a small sigh. She turned down the music playing from her phone and looked at her neighbor, half-closing the book.

"It's about a teenage girl who had two months left to live," Blake explained monotonously. "She tries to fulfill her last wish before she dies."

"Oh," The blonde dragged out he word, her uniquely-coloured eyes widened. "What's her final wish?"

"To be in a relationship," Blake said before starting to read Shattered again, wishing for the talkative girl to let her read in peace. What a nuisance.

"Do you want to be in a relationship?" The girl fired another question, leaning in.

Blake closed her book and leaned away, widened eyes staring at the blonde.

"Do you?" She pressed, a wide smile on her pale face.

"Uh... Yes?" Blake asked more than answered.

The train stopped, causing the blonde to look at the opening doors on her right. "Whelp, this is my stop. What's your name?"

"Blake," Blake answered without thinking.

"Yang," Yang smiled as she got up. She winked at Blake and exited the train. Blake let slip a small smile before opening the book and finding her page, 97.

I wonder if she'll be here every morning.

"So that's how you met your girlfriend?" Sun, a friend of Blake's, asked. He'd been wondering how those two met because they'd been together for three years. They were polar opposites, of course anyone would wonder how they could have possibly met.

"Yes, it is," Blake nodded, finishing her ice cream cone. "Why?"

"Well, uh," Sun said nervously, staring at his banana ice cream. "You're just so different. It's like you'd be chilling at a library and Yang would be getting wasted at a party. Nobody ever meets on a train, right?"

"We did, and we're perfectly happy, Sun," Blake smiled genuinely.
