This is how my friends and I listen to music. Disclaimer: I don't own High School Musical

Everyone gathers on the baseball field for the big game. Chad goes to the pitcher's mound and Ryan gets up to home plate.

"This will be too easy," Chad sneers. Ryan cocks an eyebrow.

"Why do you say that?"

"You dance," Chad laughs.

"What is that supposed to mean? Even dancers can play baseball," Ryan scoffs.

"Are you kidding me? You can't go both ways."

"Oh I think you know that that's not true better than anyone."

"What are you talking about?!" Chad demands.

"Troy," Ryan smirks. Chad grows pale. No. That isn't true. I don't…

"Yes that's the name of my best friend. What's your point?" Chad tries to play it cool. Ryan rolls his eyes.

"It is so obvious," he points out. Chad's heart stops.

"I DON'T DANCE!" Chad hollers. Ryan breaks down laughing.

"Oh, but I know you can."

"NOT A CHANCE! NO!" Chad remains as stubborn as ever.

"If I can do it this way, than you can do that."

"BUT I DON'T DANCE!"

"You never know, if you never try." Ryan's eyebrows raise suggestively. Chad's mouth drops open at what he's insinuating.

"I…I don't dance." He's grasping at straws.

"And I say you can. I'll show you how I swing." Ryan stares Chad down. Chad just nods dumbly. Later after the game ends, Ryan takes Chad by his hand, and leads him back to his room.

Ryan rolls over to look at the shell shocked Chad.

"I…"

"Yes?"

"I can dance."

Ryan smiles at his new lover.

"I knew you could."
