Hi there !
This one-shot is a bet asked by AssassinMasterEzio91.
He asked me a Warren POV for his One-Shot: Life is Strange: Stange but amazing.
Finally, english isn't my first language, I am french, so if you see any mistake or weird sentences, please, feel free to tell me about it so that I can learn and improve.
Summary : Max was everything to him, she helped so many people around, and she was offering him the best gift: the honour to be called her husband.
Disclamer : Life is Strange is not my property and thank God, it isn't, you would hate the way I'd change it!
His everyday hero
That was it.
His big day.
Their big day.
In a few moments, Maxine Caulfield, Max as she prefered to be called, was going to be named Maxine Graham.
It felt like a dream.
Warren had always loved Max, ever since he saw her in Blackwell years ago, he had felt drawn to her. Was it because she was awkward, shy, geeky? He didn't know but he could relate to her. And her kindness made him melt. Sure, Kate was kind too, but she was kind to everyone. Max was different. She was kind, compassionate but could also bite. He could still remember how happy he felt when she told him she thought he was cool, being so at ease with science. They had common passion, they teased each other, he was himself with her.
And as time passed by, his appreciation of Max grew stronger, he grew closer to her, he loved her more and more until he realized that she was the one he truly loved. He had felt that way with some girls, but never as strongly as with Max. With Max, everything was pushed to the extreme. She brought the best of him.
Max was his hero.
How she saved Kate's life while she was grieving the loss of Chloe, her lost best friend with whom she never had the chance to reconnect, how she comforted Victoria when Nathan was put into a mental hospital and took her there because she was afraid to go alone, how she reunited Juliet and Dana after the sexto episode... All by herself, putting others first when she was hurting. Because he knew she was. He made himself a promise. Should they have a daughter, he'd name her Chloe, so Max could have another Chloe to love. He'd be a happy science teacher, watching over their babies, while Max would go around and live her deam: to be a photographer. He would not deprive her of that, Max never looked as beautiful as when she smiled, when she was glowing with happiness.
Mrs Grant was there, accompanied by Samuel and Principal Wells. Nathan had done his time in both the hospital and the jail and he was accompanied by a quite pregnant Victoria, whose love for him was obvious for the world to see. He had written to all the people he wronged, apologizing and almost everyone did. Even Chloe's parents. Joyce and David, despite their pain, knew he was but a kid at that time, he had been manipulated and Chloe's autopsy had proved it was an accident. He meant it, he paid his debt to society, let him live, that was their word. Warren could also see Dana with her husband Trevor, their baby girl cooing in his arms. Juliet and Zachary were still strong, still together. Kate, Alyssa, some tatooed man with his old dog, a former homeless woman who now worked at the Two Whales, as Joyce needed someone to help her after Chloe's death, it seemed all of Blackwell had come to congratulate the girl who changed their lives and tried to help them at some point in their existences... Joyce and David were there as well, and though he had never met her, Warren was sure Chloe was there too, in a way.
And as Max entered the church, walked down the aisle by her proud father, radiant in her white gown, a blue butterfly softly landed on the altar.
The End
