"Come on. It's not that far now!"
"I'm trying to keep up but I keep tripping."
"Ok! We're here!" He starting running and then jumped. I followed him and peered over the edge. His head was just coming up through the beautiful clear water. He looked up towards me and said, "Jump." While looking me right in the eye with his shining green eyes.
"Bella, wake up!" He said to me in a woman's voice.
"What?" I looked at him like you would when you saw pigs flying. He smiled back.
"Bella!"
I shot up out of bed. What the… Oh. Not again….
"Ok! I'm up! Let me get dressed, mom." I said with a horse voice.
"That's my girl." My mom said back. She said that every morning, I'm not completely sure why but I was used to it.
I walked into the bathroom for a quick shower and I brushed my teeth. I got changed into my skinny jeans, a random white top, my Wyoming hoody, and flats. I bounded down the stairs and got breakfast ready. I shoved my empty bowl in the sink then grabbed my bag and keys. I headed out the door, shouting my goodbye, and got into my rusty truck. I started the engine and headed for the nightmare that was high school.
