Naruto pondered on his past.He hadn't had this certain memory in awhile,he didn't know why.It was quite important.

"Sasuke!Sasuke!" he had squealed to his childhood friend. "Look what I found!" he shove a butterfly necklace in front of Sasuke's face "What is it Naruto-chan?" "I found this by the river!".Sasuke gazed at the small cheap necklace .

"You didn't steal that did you?"

"No!I found it in the dirt!"

"Ok.Ok.Calm down."

Naruto had kissed Sasuke on the cheek.Being little he didn't know that was supposedly wrong.Sasuke had been shocked and pushed him on the ground.Luckily,the dirt had been soft so he didn't get hurt.

"DON'T EVER TALK TO ME AGAIN!DON'T COME NEAR ME!EVER!"

Sasuke had run off and Naruto had been left there wondering what he had done wrong.He started crying and felt a hand brush on his back.It was Sasuke's older brother Itachi.He had smiled at Naruto .

"Don't worry,he doesn't like anybody."

His smile had seemed cold and sarcastic.But he believed Itachi.That's what had started his rivalry with Sasuke.The completive feeling in boys during puberty also had something to do with it.But he knew Itachi's sly lie told to a 5 year old had been a big part.But what could he do now?He and sSasuke lived on oppisite sides of the country.There was NOTHING that could be done.

Sasuke grabbed a martini glass and filled it with the 4th cup he had to serve to a college student who was trying to get his attention by buying as many drinks as possible.

"H-heyyyyyyyyyyy.Wanna…k-kiss me?"

"No thank you miss."

He turned around and went to the break room for a smoke.He flipped open his cellphone to see if he had missed any calls from his girlfriend Meiko."Nn?Why did Naruto call at this hour?Shound't he be asleep?"

He talked to his cellphone. "Hmm,by now he should be,it's 12 o' clock."

He listened to his voicemail and expected Naruto's annoying high pitched voice he had heard whine over 12 years ago.But since it had been that long,of course what he got was a heart-stopping shy deep voice.

"Ah,Hi Sasuke.For some reason today I was just remembering THAT day.So,I felt I needed to call you for some reason…but,I guess I don't need to.But,if you have the chance,call me back.Well,not in an hour or two,I will probably be asleep.Urm…ok…b-bye."

Sasuke didn't know why,but he wanted the message to go on for longer&longer.But he knew Naruto has just called him on a whim.He had just called him cause' he remembered the day Sasuke had treated him poorly and how his big brother had used Naruto as his own pity receiver.

His phone rang again,hoping it was Naruto so he could apologize for about the12th time for the incident,he opened it quickly.

"Hello!"

"Hi Sasuke…are you O.K.?"

He was surprised by Meiko's voice.

"Ah….yeah,I was just expecting somebody…sorry."

"No,no.It's alright,listen,I just wanted to tell you I'll probably be getting in late tonight,the girls wanna do an extra show."

"Ah,O.K."

"So,just don't wait up if you get tired,kay' sweetie?"

"Yeah,I got it."

"Kay' bye."

He closed his phone and sighed.He didn't know why but he REALLY wanted to talk to Naruto.He lit a cigarette and sat on the small love seat.
