A Tribute to Joshua Christopher

Winds blow,

Trees sway,

All is silent,

Yet so much noise.

Coyotes howl,

Like the wolves,

At the moon,

So much noise.

Owl's hoot,

To the nightengale's song,

Deep into the night,

Why so much noise?

Snakes slither,

Bees buzz,

My mind is penetrated,

STOP THE NOISE!!!

Lakes freeze over,

Ripples of stone,

Yet still the noise,

Is ground into my bone.

Petrified apes,

No longer violent,

Birds' twitters cease,

All is silent.

I look around,

My world now still,

I made it silent,

With my will.

Frozen gazes,

And petrified toys,

I smile to myself,

No more noise.

Joshua looked up from where he was crouched, a small smile on his face. He saw Rosette's worried eyes, but at the same time, he didn't see anything. "Sis..." He said, not seeing the blood running down his face, not seeing his hands, whish stained his sister's dress red. not seeing her tears... "The noise is gone. I made it go away."

Then, all was silent. All except the young girl's cries, as her brother was then taken away.

I hope you liked it. Please review.
