Sorry if it isn't great, but I am trying to post this as I am going to work. This is The Ladies of the Scarlet Phoenix from Kat's pov. Lyz's point of view is written by Alexandria Aurelius.

Prologue: A Past Not Forgotten

Two eleven-year-old girls sat on a leather couch accompanied by a thirteen year old boy and a grown man in his thirties. This was not your typical family gathering; important information was about to be given. One of the girls was Elyzabeth Narcissa Malfoy, the boy was Camulous Draco Malfoy, and the man was Draco Malfoy. The other young girl with raven hair and cold blue eyes was Kathryne Mnemosyne Malfoy; she was not related to the other Malfoys, and her parentage was the reason for this meeting.

Elyzabeth, known as Lyz, was obviously not Draco's favorite. His obvious favorite was Kathryne, then Camulous. Lyz and Kat were best friends and Camulous often look after them. They were told that when the girls turned eleven, they would find out the truth about Kat's family. All they knew was that her grandfather attended Hogwarts in the late 1930's to the early 1940's; they didn't even know his name.

Draco cleared his throat then started speaking, "Kathryne's family is a noble and famous family, with roots going back to the greatest Hogwarts founder, Salazar Slytherin. Her father was Aries Riddle and her grandfather was Tom Marvolo Riddle, more commonly known as the Dark Lord. Not much is known about her mother's family, but I will tell you that I have inside information. For now I will tell you your mothers were best friends; Mnemosyne and Calliope were never far apart. Girls, you will begin training tomorrow; when you are 16 and Camulous is 19, I will tell you more, but for now, that is all. Goodnight."
