AN: Hey guys since we don't have Castle today *goes to that dark corner of the room and cries* I decided that it was a good day to finish this little thing here. Let me know if you guys like it, reviews are always welcome :) I hope we all survive this week and yeah... wish you guys all the very best. (nope I do not own anything related to Castle)

And their love is blue like the sea that washes the soft sands from the Hamptons.

Kate walks hand in hand with Castle and she feels as if her skin has never touched anything before, it's a strange combination of a burning electricity that runs through her nerves and a numbing sensation that reaches her brain. Beckett knows that this will be a memory she'll treasure, hold on to it, to him, when times get hard, as Castle will always be her possibility of joy after the worst days now.

Her golden curls, gently caressed by the breeze, seem part of the flaming landscape that the sunset creates and Castle remembers how smooth they feel against his hands, how peaceful he feels when she lays her head on his chest and he's able to twirl his fingers around her locks of hair, sometimes brushing his fingertips on the bare skin of her back. Just the reality of Kate Beckett makes him feel like he's living in a dream.

Back at the house, the low candlelights enhances every inch of Beckett's silhouette on top of him, she feels the warmth of Castle's body flowing through her veins and it's, at the same time, poisonous and addictive.

He traces her body with his love, leaving a burning trail of desire everywhere he touches her. There's a moment when their eyes meet and create a bridge to each other's souls.

Castle sees passion, desire and love, a woman in reconstruction of herself, he sees a path he had never seen before and yet, it feels familiar to him, as he had promised, long ago, to walk again when the moment was right. Now he understands that the path he had vowed to follow with all his existence was the one where Kate Beckett was walking on.

Kate sees the promise of a man who would never let her go, who would fight for her, for them, she sees Castle and she sees the light and warmth she hadn't seem for a long time. Finally, they rest peacefully in each other's arms, nothing else matters, they're one and at the same time half of the person they were before they met.

One day, love will have a new meaning for them, a new life, a new sound; the sound of their first child's beating heart through the ultrasound monitor.

And their love will be blue like the color of their son's eyes, staring curiously at both of them, the first act of love they'll get from him.
