As the two sat on the high chairs of the elegant restruant,hand grasped together as they stared into each other's eyes, reading their souls with one glance, anyone could recognize the aura between them. They were a young couple in love.
Emerald eyes sparkled with joy while the young man's onyx orbs hid most emotions, leaking only when he could be with the girl who melted his heart. Love for this girl swept through his face which now displayed a look of serenity. Something he only felt with her. Something that would remain on his face until she was gone and he missed her. His once cold self and barrier rejecting anyone wanting to get close to him was lowered by her.
Many would believe these two were nothing alike and their love would not last. But their love would only become stronger. They couldn't live without the other because if their other half was gone, they would not feel whole.
Three simple words were whispered from the girl's lips. A small smile gracing her features as her pink hair framed her face. A blush lightly placed on her cheeks. Even after the many times she said it, it still brought her joy when the words escaped her lips.
"Hn." He replied, clutching her hand tighter to show he felt the same way. But she was not satisfied with his answer, her face forming into a pout and her eyes looked at his. Knowing her reaction all to well, his lips formed the famous Uchiha smirk.
But her expression changed to a huge grin as a plan slowly formed in her mind. He knew this facial expression to and quickly tried to change her mind.
"Sakura." He calmly stated but her lips formed a smirk that resembled his.
Her lips formed the words again, louder than the first time. Heads turned as they stared at the couple, whispering about the incident.
"Has the cold Uchiha gone soft?"
"Is he actually going to show some feelings for once?" A glare was directed towards them immediately after they spoke. Noticing the Uchiha's wrath, they closed their lips and tried to hide themselves by lowering their bodies in their chairs. After the quick glare, his black hair covered his face to hide his blush. But he was not afraid to show his feelings for his girl.
A smile graced her face as he turned back to her. "Sakura."
"Yes, Sasuke-kun?" A smirk once again appeared on his face as he rose. Her eyes showing confusion as he walked towards her. He leaned down before whispering to her.
"I love you too." Her face turned a deep crimson from the reaction she did not expect. His eyes traveled to her hands and she followed his gaze to find a velvet box. She gasped as she opened it slowly and revealed two items. A beatiful necklace with the Uchiha emblem, the red and white fan shining brightly at her. But the other object brought tears to her eyes, threating to spill at any moment. Connected with the necklace was a diamond ring, resting on top of his clan symbol waiting to be put on.
"Marry me Sakura." The tears escaped from her eyes as she rose, hugging him tightly. "Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!" She screamed earning a smile from her boyfriend and soon to be husband. His fingers lightly undid the necklace and pulled out the ring, placing it on her before returning to the box and attaching the necklace to her bare neck. He wrapped his arms around her and his smile grew.
"I love you Sasuke-kun." She whispered once again and his answer came quickly this time. His response more than one word.
"I love you too. Sakura Uchiha."
