"Hannah Maria Sidle! Where are you, baby?"

"Here, Mommy! Here!" My little girl crawls out from under the table, her brown curls bouncing. She runs over into my arms, her brown eyes sparkling.

"Hannah Maria! Why were you hiding, you silly little girl?"

"So you no go!"

"What, silly little girl?"

"If you can't find me, you no go to work!" I smile. My girl is smart. I straighten out her pink nightgown and hand her the brown teddy bear she never goes anywhere without.

"Baby, I'll come back soon, I promise. But I have to go to work!"

"So you catch bad guys?"

"Yes, baby, so I catch bad guys. I'll be back when you wake up, okay? I love you." She kisses my cheek.

"Bye Mommy!" I let her go as the babysitter comes in. I walk out of the room, slowly shutting the front door. I hear Hannah's excited squeal and smile. I hate leaving my 3 year old for work. I also hate that I can't take her to work. I hate everything about the mess that I got myself into. Well, almost everything, except the result. Hannah. 3 years ago, I got incredibly drunk and had a one night stand with a coworker. And now, I had a three year old daughter that no one knew about. Including the father. As I get into the car, I start to wonder. What if I had told the father? Would I have this secret child? This is killing me. I wish Brass or Archie or Catherine could meet my beautiful daughter. But for now, I have to continue hiding my beautiful daughter from Nick Stokes.
