Hello everyone. What's up? I am warning you guys now this is my first story so please guys go easy on me. This story is going to follow the story but there are going to be many changes like Naruto is strong, really strong and he is having a harem.

I will need your help in certain aspects. Although I appreciate some criticism, please don't go and start outright flaming me.

The story starts just after the genin exams when Naruto stole the Forbidden Scroll. Now on with the story...

Summary: Naruto Uzumaki the very name that would fill the villagers' mouth with disgust was actually a hero and a true prodigy like no other. He never showed off his strengths. No, that would be wrong to say. He NEVER showed his strengths, not even the slightest bit.

Nobody actually knew that the very kid who is the dead last of the academy and supposedly good for nothing would be the one responsible for their very survival. On the very first day of his existence he was a hero.

We find our favorite blond in a small clearing just outside of Konoha in a forest. "Finally I got it. How long is that Mizuki-teme going to take?" Naruto asked himself. He was waiting for Mizuki to come so that Naruto could kick his ass for spying on Konoha and making a plan to steal the Forbidden Scroll. Yes, Naruto knew that Mizuki was planning to steal the Forbidden Scroll when Naruto has started spying on Mizuki for his suspicious behavior.

Naruto came to know what he was planning and quickly decided to fall in the trap. Mizuki's plan was to fail Naruto and then to trap him by making him steal the scroll with a bait of him becoming a genin. But Naruto was way smarter than that.

So now here he was, bore as hell just waiting for him. "Well it doesn't hurt to learn some jutsus." and with that said Naruto opened the scroll and started to copy the jutsus in another scroll.

When Naruto was finished he pocketed the scroll and again waited. After sometime Iruka found Naruto lying lazily with his back resting on a tree. Iruka sighed in relief and made his way towards Naruto.

Iruka eyed Naruto and saw that he was wearing his normal clothes that consisted of an orange jacket and loose orange pants. His jacket was open revealing the bandages around his stomach, chest and face going up to his nose. Surprisingly Naruto was still wearing his sunglasses that he wore every day.

Had it not been for the fact that Naruto's jacket's hood was down and revealing his blonde hair, Iruka wouldn't even be able to make out Naruto's form even of he was a metre away and wearing clothes that screamed "IF YOU CAN'T SEE ME YOU MUST HAVE GOT BUTTONS INSTEAD OF EYES".

Iruka was just going to ask what the hell Naruto was doing when Naruto beat him to it. "How are you doing sensei?" Naruto said in a surprisingly calm voice. "What are you doing? Naruto what is the meaning of you stealing that scroll." Iruka asked.

Naruto just looked at him. "You will know soon enough sensei." he just said and went back to looking at the night sky. Iruka was getting irritated by now.

He was going to use force if it was needed. "Get Anko and Ibiki." Naruto said. Iruka was confused. Did Naruto loose his sanity? He was going to voice out his confusion when he heard someone land on a nearby tree.

He looked upto see Mizuki standing on a branch of the tree facing towards them. When Naruto noticed the arrival of the traitor he got up from his comfortable position.

"So you have finally arrived arrived. What took you so long? Did you get stuck on the road of life?" Naruto said copying the excuse of a certain scarecrow.

Mizuki was downright pissed. He didn't have much time to waste as he had wasted a lot of time in looking for the demon brat. "Do you know why everyone in the village hates you?" Mizuki said with a smug look on his face.

Iruka realized what he was talking about and quickly tried to stop Mizuki. "No, Mizuki! It is against the law. You might even be punished." Iruka exclaimed. Mizuki just smirked. "As if I give a damn about the village. You all can rot for all I care." Iruka was stunned into silence.

Mizuki just continued "Everyone in the village hates you because you are THE KYUUBI! The Yondaime Hokage Was not able to defeat it so.. " Mizuki never got to complete his sentence as he was interrupted.

".. he sealed it in a new born child. I am that child. In short, I am the container of Kyuubi no Kitsune." Naruto said, clearly bored. Mizuki and Iruka were shocked to their very core. One of the biggest secrets in the ninja world were just told to a mere child and his response was as if everyday a kyuubi is sealed in a child. What surprised them even more was the fact that Naruto knew about the secret.

Naruto was running out of time. Soon everybody would be awake and he would have to deal with more trouble than he was willing to. So Naruto decided to end it fast. He got an idea to test one of the jutsus that he had copied down from the Forbidden Scroll.

He put his hands together in a plus sign and muttered "Shadow Clone Jutsu." And suddenly the whole forest clearing was surrounded by orange wearing masked Narutos. Mizuki and Iruka froze. And both of them had the same thought going through their mind. 'Impossible.'

Unfortunately for Mizuki, he was too preoccupied to come over the initial shock and was caught off-guard. And all the clones charged. He was beaten till he slipped into unconsciousness. All but one clone were dispelled. The last clone picked up Mizuki on his shoulder.

The original Naruto looked at the shocked expression of Iruka and he chuckled slightly to himself. Iruka finally snapped out of his stupor and looked to see Naruto looking at him.

"I will explain everything once we reach the Hokage Tower." Naruto said while Iruka just nodded. Naruto was about to leave when he felt a hand on his shoulder stopping him. He turned around and saw Iruka with a kind smile on his face.

"Naruto I am sorry about what you have gone through and even more so that I wasn't there to help you. But whatever happens you are not a demon. In fact you are one of the kindest person I have ever met." Iruka said.

Naruto was shocked at first but later on his mood turned into one of immense joy. After so long he has another person that he could easily call a precious person. He was going to respond when Iruka beat him to it.

"Naruto remove your glasses and close your eyes." Iruka said confusing Naruto in the process. But he still complied. He hesitantly removed his sunglasses to show the most beautiful cerulean eyes to the world. Then he closed them.

Iruka was mildly surprised by those eyes. But he didn't lose his focus. He removed his headband and placed it on Naruto's forehead. Naruto frowned when he came to know what was going on. But Iruka was oblivious to this.

Naruto let out a sigh of resignation. He can't go back now. Not after he had promised himself. He would have to bring out some changes to his plan but it would still work out fine...

"Now Naruto open your eyes." Naruto opened his eyes and touched his forehead to prove his suspicion. And indeed he was right...again. Iruka had just given him his hitae-ate. Then Naruto looked up to see Iruka's beaming face and a face splitting grin.

Now Naruto was back in his ectasy mood. He would rather die than to refuse Iruka now and give his hitae-ate back. Naruto quickly hugged Iruka. "Now let's go back to the Hokage Tower." Naruto said after sometime and Iruka nodded.

Hokage Tower

Sarutobi Hiruzen, the sandaime hokage of konohgakure was sitting in his chair watching the events unfold through his crystal ball. He was first surprised when Naruto just told somebody to bring Anko and Ibiki. That was when he realized that Naruto was talking to him.

He quickly gave the order to an ANBU to bring the aforementioned people and went back to observing the scene. His eyes widened and his mouth fell open when he heard that Naruto had known about Kyuubi. He was frozen on his seat. He quickly snapped out of his stupor and noticed Naruto becoming a genin. He smiled warmly at the scene.

After sometime there was a knock on his door. He called them in. Naruto, Iruka, and Naruto's clone carrying Mizuki, all came in. Naruto had worn his glasses back and had even put his hood back on.

"Yo, jiji. How's it going?" Naruto said casually. "Show respect Naruto!" Iruka said. Sarutobi raised his hand to show that it was time to be serious. "Naruto, I know that you trust Iruka, so why didn't you ever show him your face?" he asked.

"I never got to meet him alone. Well now doesn't hurt, does it?" Naruto replied. He removed his hood as well as his sunglasses. He then slowly started to pull the bandages down. What Iruka saw next surprised him to no extent.

Right in front of him was one of the most handsome boy that he had ever seen. Man he just took the cake from Sasuke. Naruto didn't have the face of a pretty boy. No, his face was more of a more masculine type. His face had no signs of baby fat and had a lean & muscular look to it. His cerulean blue eyes would make you feel as though you are looking at the peacefully sky. His blonde hair shined so brightly like the sun.

Naruto then turned to look at Iruka. "This is how I really look like. Sorry about hiding it for so long." Naruto said snapping Iruka out of his shock. "No, it doesn't matter. But I guess I understand why you would hide it. With a face like that, I have no doubt that you are going to have one of the largest fanclub in Konoha." Iruka said.

Naruto chuckled to himself. "Yeah I know what ya mean. Even though that is not the reason I cover up my face." Naruto said. This got Iruka and Sarutobi's attention but Naruto just waved his hands.

"Now Naruto I want you to tell me honestly how you know about the Kyuubi and the fact that it is sealed in you?" Sarutobi asked in a stern voice that did not give any room for questions.

"Are you telling me that all those villagers would say those things and I wouldn't even come to know the reason when they voiced it out?" Naruto asked with a stupefied expression. If Sarutobi was not serious before he sure as hell was now.

"Naruto, I want you to tell me exactly who told you about that and what exactly did he/she say." Sarutobi said in his stern voice. If there was somebody out there who had violated the law, he/she would have to be executed as per the punishment.

"Don't tie your pants in a knot jiji. Nobody told that to me directly. The villagers just called me a demon and told me that I had taken their precious people from them. Now because there was practically the whole village that was accusing me of this, I thought that whatever must have happened must have been very big for the whole village to be involved. I never remembered doing anything to them. Then when I thought about it, I realized that my date of birth was the same as the day when kyuubi attacked Konoha. So I made two possible theories. The first was that because I was born on the same day, therefore everyone thought that I was its reincarnation. The other was that the Yondaime was not able to defeat the Kyuubi and sealed it inside me. My second theory made more sense and I got the proof when I looked in the Forbidden Scroll where I found the Shikki Fuin jutsu. I believe the yoindaime used it to seal the Kyuubi in me." Naruto said.

Sarutobi and Iruka had stupefied looks. Both of them had the same thought 'Incredible. He got it right and nobody even told him.' Sarutobi's face again turned serious. 'I knew he was hiding a lot. But how much is he hiding really. He can be as powerful as ANBU or an elite jonin for all I know. And on top of that he has been doing missions since three years.' he thought.

"Naruto just how strong are you?" Iruka asked. Naruto just gave a wide grin. "Strong enough to defeat a chunnin." he said while his clone lifted Mizuki a bit who was still on Its shoulder.

"Hokage-sama, now that Naruto has become a genin it puts the number of genins off by one. So how do you plan to place him on a team?" Iruka asked. "Well, that is true. We have two options. We might place him on a team thus making the first team of five members. Or we can place him on a completely different team with a sensei and thus making the first team of only two members." Sarutobi replied.

"Because the team placements are quite different, therefore I will consider your choice Naruto and Iruka." Sarutobi said, gaining the attention of both the student and the teacher. Naruto sighed. This was turning into something really troublesome.

"I trust you with the teams, jiji." Naruto said. Sarutobi nodded. "Iruka, why don't you go home now? You must be tired after all the searching you did you must have been tired." Sarutobi said. Iruka was hesitant but still complied when Naruto gave him a reassuring smile.

"Good night Hokage-sama, Naruto" Iruka said while bowing to the Hokage. He then left and the room grew tensely silent. Naruto and Sarutobi were having a staring contest and both the parties were not showing any sign of backing down. Sarutobi sighed. "Naruto, I trust you with the jutsus you have copied today. I will not take them back, though I will take the Forbidden Scroll."

"Thanks jiji. Even though I was still going to keep the jutsus whether you approved of it or not." Naruto said with an impassive face making Sarutobi flinch a bit. "Also, how did you know that I was looking at you when you ordered me to bring Anko and Ibiki?" Sarutobi voiced out his confusion.

"Jiji, the things I know will make you lose all of your remaining hair. Lets just settle on the fact that when I came here a long time ago to see you and you were not there, I saw that orb. I was curious and went to it. It seemed quite normal but when I applied a bit of chakra, I was able to see the academy like I was watching a TV." Naruto said getting a nod from Hokage.

"Naruto why don't you tell me about your problems anymore? Why do you hide so many things from me?" Sarutobi asked. Naruto had started acting really weird after he entered the academy. Nobody knew what had happened to him and since then Naruto had started covering himself. Wearing masks and what not to cover up anything of skin that should normally be visible.

He would hide his eyes by wearing sunglasses, hide his hair with a hood, cover his hands, arms and even his face With bandages. Naruto was a total enigma.

"I will tell you jiji, but that is for some another time. Right now we have guests" Naruto said while pointing at the door. He quickly covered his fave with all the bandages and put on his hood. Suddenly there was a knock and in came Ibiki followed by Anko.

"You had called us?" Ibiki asked while looking at Naruto in confusion. "Yes. I believe you need to open the mouth of Mizuki." Sarutobi said while pointing at the unconscious figure on Naruto's clone's shoulder.

"Alright, but what's this kid doing hair?" Anko asked showing a lot of skin to Sarutobi and Naruto through her fishnet and trench coat. "He is the one who caught the spy. Now of you may proceed, it is quite late in the night." Sarutobi said. Anko and Ibiki looked shocked but soon snapped out it and nodded.

Naruto set Mizuki down on a chair and Anko quickly tied him to it. Ibiki threw some water on the traitorous chunnin, thus waking him up. Mizuki got up and the site that he saw made him freeze.

He then remembered the events that took place not more than an hour ago. He looked at Naruto and started to curse him. He was silenced by a killer intent. And thus began his torture. Mizuki was persistent but after some time a few tricks from Ibiki and Anko Had him talking.

"I was sent here by Orochimaru-sama. He told me to steal the Forbidden scroll and meet him around ten miles north from here. He said that if I will give him the scroll, he will make me really powerful." Mizuki almost cried. "Who is waiting for you north of Konoha?" Sarutobi asked.

"I don't know exactly but he said that he has a camp and quite a number of ninjas waiting there." Mizuki replied fearing the torture of Anko and Ibiki. "Alright that is enough. Arrest him and put him in the jail. Tomorrow we will decide your punishment." Sarutobi said.

He was rubbing his head which never stopped aching. He mentally cursed Orochimaru. His ex-student, now an S ranked missing-nin was always planning to destroy one thing or the other making matters worse for Konoha.

"Alright, ANBU. I want a team to go to the rendezvous." Sarutobi ordered to an ANBU who had appeared in the room with a swirl of leaves. Suddenly the Hokage office was filled with light laughter.

Everybody looked at Naruto with raised eyebrows. After Naruto was done going through his trauma, he asked the ANBU to leave. The ANBU didn't even budge but went away after the Hokage said so.

"Naruto, what's so funny? This is serious matter." Sarutobi said. "Nothing, jiji. Just that you fell right in his plan." Naruto said. Everyone's eyes widened when he said that.

"Are you implying that Mizuki was lying?" Sarutobi and the others looked at Naruto clearly asking for an explanation. Naruto just sighed.

"No, what Mizuki said was true. What I am talking about is the fact that you guys got caught in the trap set by Orochimaru." Naruto said and everyone's eyes widened again.

Naruto just went near the door and pressed his hand on it. The was a faint glow and then there appeared a set of seals which disappeared after a minute. Sarutobi looked surprised. "Naruto, how did you know about the silencing seal?"

"I will tell you some other time jiji. Right now we have more important matters to settle." Naruto said. Sarutobi was hesitant but nodded.

"Alright. I know that all of you know about the kind of person Orochimaru is. He will never formulate a plan so weak. A chunnin would give him the Forbidden Scroll at the promise of power. Nice plan indeed. But look at it this way. A chunnin should never be able to steal that scroll. Orochimaru, of course must have known that but he still sent a shinobi a such a low threat." Sarutobi, Anko and Ibiki were shocked when they heard that.

"This can only mean two things. One that Orochimaru is nothing but an idiot and was taking a huge risk. Or two that Orochimaru deliberately wanted Mizuki to get caught. But now the question arises why would he want him to get caught? What would he gain?" Naruto continued.

"The answer is really simple he wanted to pull you guys in a trap by saying that he was waiting for Mizuki there." Sarutobi and the others froze when they understood what that meant.

"But that still does not explain the fact that Mizuki was telling the truth?" Ibiki asked. He was impressed greatly by the kid. Ibiki was interested in a person and that was as rare.

"Did you think that he would just go and tell Mizuki to surrender after stealing the scroll? Man jiji, your ninjas are slacking on their jobs." Naruto added with a chuckle. Ibiki got a tic mark on his forehead whereas Anko and Sarutobi were just looking at him with stupefied faces. Ibiki never got riled up...never.

"Mizuki was just used in this plan. My guess will be that when you send a team or two to the rendezvous, either they would not come back alive or will make the matters that Konoha is in much, much worse." Naruto said in what seemed to his serious tone. This surprised everyone in the room because his voice was completely devoid of emotions.

"Naruto, I don't know how you were able to do that. But I can tell for a fact that if you were not here Konoha would have been destroyed." Sarutobi was grateful.

"Jiji, I can bet it even you don't want to know in how many ways that is true." Naruto said in that serious tone of his. If Anko and Ibiki didn't know better they would have thought that this was an experienced shinobi and not some dead-last kid.

"Now for what you have done today." Sarutobi said while removing two papers from his desk. "For capturing and securing the information about the village I take it as a B-rank mission that you have completed successfully." Sarutobi said while stamping one of the papers. Naruto just nodded at the old man.

"And for solving such a difficult and sensitive matter as well as saving quite a number of ninjas in a matter of ten minutes, I take it as an S-rank mission that you have just completed." Sarutobi said and stamped the second paper while again Naruto just nodded. Ibiki and Anko had dinner plate eyes.

"Here is your pay." Sarutobi said while giving Naruto the two pieces of paper. "Alright I will be taking my leave now jiji. And I trust you will take care of the teams?" Saurtobi nodded.

"See ya guys around." Naruto said to a stupefied Ibiki and Anko who had their jaws on the ground. Naruto just chuckled and left the room.

"What is he?" Anko asked slowly. Sarutobi looked at her with understandable eyes. "I don't know myself." Sarutobi sighed.

"Ibiki you can go home now. Anko, I think I found the perfect job for you." Sarutobi said as he interlocked his fingers.

How was that? To be honest I enjoyed writing it and hope that you guys enjoy reading it too.

Alright, now I need to make some things clear to you. When Sarutobi was saying that without Naruto the village would have been destroyed, he was trying to cheer him up for being a jinchuriki. He was saying that if Naruto was not there Konoha would have been destroyed by the Kyuubi.

I need you guys to review as much as possible. Naruto will be paired up with almost every woman in the fic. So guys be aware. I don't want you to be complaining later on.
