It had been just over a year since the fiasco of Philip Burton and new
Dawn. Matt and Emily had begun dating when Matt asked her out during her birthday dinner. Connor and Abby got married within the 6 months as Connor wanted to be married before something happened (due to their job that was expected). However nothing more had happened between Jess and Becker.
Since the convergence and destruction of new dawn, anomalies had become less frequent with only about 1 anomaly every couple of weeks and this meant Connor had a new habit of being very bored very easily!
"ABBY!" Connor screamed
Abby ran from the menagerie,
"Connor where are you!" Abby yelled "Becker we need back up Connor is in trouble!" she said through the comms. Abby ran to the lunch room searching for Connor.
"Connor where are you!"
"In here," came a muffled cry
"There" Abby pointed and Becker turned on his EMD. He banged open the door and 1 second later came a bucket of soap onto his head!
"Action Man is all wet" came a laughing Connor!
"THAT'S IT" yelled Becker getting ready to shoot
"NO Becker!" screamed Abby
"What's going on?" matt asked coming from the hub, as soon as he saw the soaking captain he began to laugh
"This idiot just soaked me"
"No need to take it so seriously mate, just a joke" Connor said in a nervous laugh
"Connor, find something else other than winding Becker up next week! OK?" Abby scolded him
"Yes Abby" giving her a scolded puppy face.
Abby smiled at him and gave him a kiss
"O please, we all have a job to do," came Lester's unemotional voice from the doorway of the hub room.
"Sorry guys got to go" said Matt before walking out, still laughing at the sight of Becker.
"Becker please dry yourself off, I have no time for paperwork if someone gets injured thanks to your dripping!"
Connor smiled as the ever so sarcastic Lester walked away, it was a month until Christmas and Connor had a plan to get Becker to admit he liked jess as it was driving him crazy! He just had to get Abby, Matt and Emily's agreement.
