"Don't that look nice?"
"Hm?" Natalia looks around and sees nothing but snow into the horizon. "What looks nice?'
"That." Gilbert points above his head, a little to the right, where Natalia's hair tangles with his own on the ground. "Platinum and silver."
She raises an eyebrow. "You make us sound like a jewellery store."
"Then your hair would be worth more. You don't lose nothing," he smiles.
"Nothing but time wasted lying here with you."
Gilbert points out, "You didn't disagree to coming here."
"Maybe I was...befuddled."
"Befuddled," he repeats, amused.
Natalia says, "Maybe I saw silver and thought it was gold." She reaches up and twirls one of his short locks of hair around her pinky finger.
"...I ain't that tall," he scoffs, "Hey. Want a reason to dig your hands in my hair?"
"I want gold," she half-sings.
Gilbert shrugs the best he can lying down. "And I want chocolate. Can't we just be two people looking for something?"
"Maybe—but I can't—I'm too cold," she nods.
"Then touch me; numb me."
A corner of her mouth moves. "What if I turn you—what if I freeze you?"
"You'll never see a more exquisite ice sculpture."
"You'd be so beautiful they'd put you on display," she hums.
"D'you think I'd look good on that pedestal?" replies Gilbert, not missing a beat.
Finally, Natalia rolls over to look down on Gilbert's face. "Let me freeze with you," she breathes.
"Touch me."
"Look," she points to the air above their heads as she leans her face closer to his, "Proof we're breathing."

What kind of speech did I give Prussia...?
When I have finals, I am magically gifted with the ability to finish a story. Also, I have suddenly learnt how to take my ideas and, y'know, finish them. Thank goodness. I thought I was going to have a million half-written drabbles and stories forever.
