The novelist continued typing up his story. The apartment was silent except for the
sound of the computer keys. He tried his hardest to focus, but the silence was becoming
unbarable. What was wrong? Irritated, the blonde got up from his desk and walked out of his
study room and entered the living room. He looked over at the couch to find a pink haired
boy sitting there in silence with his hands folded in his lap. The blonde walked over to
the couch and stood in front of him. The boy looked up startled. Big violet eyes stared back
into the blonde's golden orbs.
"What's with you," the blonde asked curiously.
"Um, are you still mad at me, Yuki?" the pink haired boy asked; his voice more of a whisper.
The one called Eiri Yuki looked down at the saddened boy with guilt remembering now
that the two had been arguing over something incredibly stupid. They had lived together for
a year and four months now. And yet Eiri couldn't seem to control himself whenever his
lover-yes lover-did something wrong. He got upset over the simplest things. But it couldn't
be helped. This boy was rambuncuous and uncontrolable. He gets hyper so easily that it
drives Eiri nuts. However, for some reason his energetic and happy-go-lucky nature always
seemed to keep Eiri going. It kept him from falling apart.
"Forget about it," Eiri responded lifting the boy's chin. "I'm not angry with you,
Shuichi. Not anymore."
"Yuki," Shuichi said gleefuly, "y-you mean it? You're not angry?"
"That's what I said, isn't it?" the novelist said softly, brushing the boy's
bubble gum bangs aside.
Before the man could speek another word, he felt himself being rammed backwards.
Eiri let out a yell as he suddenly lost his balance and landed on his back against the wood
floor; the smaller boy laying on top of him. He closed his eyes and sighed. Soft lips had
been pressed against his left cheek over and over again until they found his lips. Shuichi
looked at his boyfriend with such love and tenderness, then continued smothering him with
hugs and kisses. Eiri just layed there with his arms around Shuichi's waist and allowed
himself to be engulfed in his love. Way, waaaay too much love.
"Hey, Shuichi," Eiri said, "just promise me one thing."
"Yes, Yuki," Shuichi responded anxiously.
"Just remember to turn the hall light off first before you come crawling into bed,
okay?"
