"Hey, Levi, do you want to have kids?"
He stops and reflects for a moment. He have never had time to think about it, because after all, he had more important things to think about, like strategies and formations, orders to fulfill and how he would exterminate all those fucking titans, so mankind would be free of these damned cages they called walls.
But now, as the wind touches softly the pale skin of his face and whispers its calm melody in his ears, while the blue of the sky slowly turns into warm shades (lighting up even more Petra's amber-ish eyes), he has enough time to think, and as he ponders, he realizes he's not sure if he wants to bring an innocent child to such cruel world as the one in which they live in.
Levi loves Petra. How could he not? She has brought light to his dark days, warmth to his cold heart and filled him with wishful thinking and sweet dreams, and he's grateful for that.
And as he thinks of her, and sees two star-filled eyes and a warm and kind smile, as he hears her melodic, luring voice whispering softly in his ear how much she loves him, he thinks that even if they live in such a harsh reality and bringing a child to this world would be unfair, if she was to have a child, she would do an amazing mother.
He sighs and looks deep into her eyes, as a single world slips out of his mouth.
"Maybe."
He blinks and looks away towards the sky, as a lonely tear makes its way down his cheek.
"If you just were here."
