"Honey calm down please." Jack soothed as Sam squeezed his hand and yelled at him through clenched teeth.
"DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" Sam yelled and moaned as another contraction rippled through her body.
"Keep pushing that's it." the doctor ushered.
"I AM BLOODY PUSHING WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM DOING" Sam continued to yell as she pushed once again.
"I am so sorry Doc." Jack apologised to the young doctor.
"WHERE THE HELL IS JANET!" growled Sam and she squeezed Jack's hand tighter.
"She's right here" Janet replied as she walking into the theatre and up behind her assistant.
"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN AHHH!" yelled Sam as she pushed once more.
"An SG team came in injured I had to deal with them first and well I trusted Cooper with the delivery and I'm here now so no fuss Sam." replied Janet as she looked on as the baby's head started to crown.
"Easy for you to say Doc I can't feel my hand anymore and I'm pretty sure my fingers are crushed." cringed Jack as Sam pushed again meanwhile crushing his fingers in the process.
"You knocked her up." laughed Janet as she positioned herself to receive Sam's first born.
"She had no complaints." Jack replied swiftly.
"Push, push, push that's it Sam ah well done." Janet cooed as she held the baby girl in her arms and Jack cut the cord.
"See Sam wasn't that hard was it?" Jack said as he placed the tiny little girl into her arms.
"Easy for you to say." Sam smiled as she took in the little girls tiny features.
"She looks just like you." smiled Jack as he brushed the tiny curls on her head.
"She has your eyes and mouth." Sam giggled.
"What do you think Sam?" Jack asked with a huge smile on his face waiting for her answer.
"I think Katie O'Neill is okay." smiled Sam as she bowed her head and placed a feather light kiss on Katie's head and whispered.
"Welcome to the world little one." Sam smiled and laid back and closed her eyes in contentment.
"She's beautiful." Jack smiled as she grabbed hold of his finger.
"How's your hand." giggled Sam.
"Just dandy it's had the crap squeezed out of it." Jack moaned.
"You should have listened to Daniel." mocked Sam as she drifted off to sleep.
"I know that now." Jack muttered as he picked up the small infant and rocked her back and fourth.
