"Chibiusa-chan…" The silver-haired elf called Peruru said sadly. "I don't know about this…"
Chibiusa sighed. "It's okay, Peruru-kun. Really, it is."
The boy leaned forward but stopped short. He raised a hand to his head and blushed.
"But what if Priest Helios finds out? I mean, I can't just—"
The Moon Princess silenced him with a fierce, passionate kiss. She threw her arms around the boy, who received it and then backed away.
Chibiusa looked at him dejectedly, twirling a strand of pink hair on her index finger.
"Let Helios find out about us, Peruru-kun. I love you. And I want you to love me back without fear."
Peruru smiled, feeling a fluttering inside of his stomach. "Do you mean that?"
The Moon princess gazed into his pure green eyes. She inched closer to him and reached for his hand.
"The day you came into my life, Peruru-kun, I forgot Helios existed. You were so open with me from the beginning. You told me your name and showed me your powers." She shrugged. "It took a month to find out that Pegasus wasn't just some horse I dreamed up."
Peruru laughed softly. "I'll always be honest with you, Chibiusa-chan. Because I love you, too."
The boy reddened. He stepped forward and embraced the princess in a hug. "And all I want in this world is to be close to you."
Chibiusa grinned, feeling warm inside. "Then will you stay here with me? I know you have duties elsewhere, but will you return when you finish?"
The silver-haired elf nodded. "How can I refuse when my dreams are so close to coming true?"
"I'm glad." The Moon Princess pulled him in for another kiss. "Both of our dreams just came true."
