A box of ashes upon the piano,
A whole life concealed,
23 long years sealed within one wooden coffin,
Sealed away forever.
2 new companions,
To hopefully fill a hole in the heart,
Though the emptiness remains,
There will always be something missing without you,
Reminiscing the old times,
The memories will never die.
Memories are all we have left,
When we see pictures, or the wooden coffin that is now your final resting place,
They all come flooding in,
Just before the tears that bring back the harsh reality,
We shall never see your face again.
Although we can dream,
And reminisce,
Of the times that we had together,
Of the life we shared,
We shall meet again one day,
I can promise you that.
That day shall be truly...
Magical.
