"Guys, you will never believe what just happened!" Kacey, Nelson and Kevin look up from their movie to see Stevie come racing into the band room laughing and smiling. "Umm, did Mr. March finally stop talking like a teenager?" Kacey asked walking over to Stevie who was now double over in laughter. She shook her head as the band room door opened again to reveal Andy Bartlett and another student carry in Zander. They walked over to the couch and layed him down then waved goodbye and walked back out the door. "Oh my gosh, what happened to him?!" The group raced over to Zander as Stevie regained her posture and her balance. "Well Zander and I were talking in the courtyard when he suddenly stopped talking and raced over to something behind me. When I turned around I saw that it was Molly! She was hanging up a banner and her ladder fell and Zander ran and caught her." Stevie scanned over her friends faces to see they were all staring in awe. "Yeah I was a bit surprised myself until I saw what happened next. Zander set her down and then she was so thankful that she gave him a great big hug then… she gave him a kiss on the cheek!" Kacey put her hand over her mouth trying hard not to burst out laughing. "Well then why is he unconscious?" Nelson asked pointing at Zander who was still lying on the couch. "After she left, he… FAINTED!" Stevie exclaimed laughing hysterically as the others exchanged looks. "W-What's going on?" The band looked over to see Zander starting to regain consciousness. Zander rubbed his head but stopped when he spotted the small smirks of his band mates. "What, do I have something on my face?" Zander reached for the small mirror on the table but Nelson stopped his hand. He shook his head as he continued to smirk. Zander scanned his friends faces for any sign of what was going on when he spotted Stevie. "Did you tell them?!" Stevie looked away rubbing her hands together for warmth even though it was almost summer vacation. "Stevie, did you or did you not?" Stevie glanced back over at Zander and nodded her head smiling. He clenched his fists and took a deep breath. He slowly sat up continuing to rub the back of his head when there came a loud screech over the intercom.
Please excuse this interruption. We have a important announcement today: Wednesday we will be having our Truth Up day. All students must participate, No Exceptions! All students will be spending a night at school and you will all go to workshops in the different classrooms. Even the band room! "Yes, I love truth up day!" Nelson exclaimed as he jumped up, pumping both fists in the air.
"Nelson what are you talking about, last year you got all freaked out because we had to stay over two nights?!" Kevin said as he walked over next to Nelson, putting his hand on his shoulder to keep him from jumping.
Nelson swung his head around to look at Kevin, "Well this year Grace is going to be there and since we both are afraid, we will be afraid together!" He picked up his bag and left the band room with a huge grin on his face. He knew this was going to be a awesome Truth Up day!
