Helen was both his lover and best friend. And he praised her for that. For her understanding of his now not so wicked mind. She had cured her from his previous illness. Now she was just turning him crazy with love, and so was he. He smiled as they shared another laugh at some old pictures they had discovered in old James stuff. It felt good, to laugh again, especially at the memories of their dearest, though now gone friend. They had all been pretty close and he had shared that with them too, that need to experience and fully live their lives till the end. For them was now left that happy part where they could smile again at each other, not having to wonder when that terrible monster would resurface. Now it was just her, him and their shared understanding of one another. They could live with that, they had already faced worse. He glanced back at one of the pictures, taken without any of them knowing, where James had captured a loving glance of the sanctuary heiress to her fiance. He could definitely live with that again.
